Production Process Evaluation
Research
• STRENGTH
I was able to find things in common from all the games that I
have researched. From those things I summarise the things that
make up the game and take it as examples when I did my game.
• WEAKNESS
The weakness of the research was I find it hard to find the one
that is suitable to the one that I had in mind. I could’ve research
more products to find suitable examples for me to produce my
game. It would’ve make my game much more interesting and
more enjoyable.
Planning
• STRENGTH
Planning makes my production went smoothly and accordingly.
Everything went smoothly without distraction and planning
made me keep track of my progress and help me to complete my
work.
• WEAKNESS
Planning takes time to properly construct it. Things sometimes
doesn’t always go to plan and if a problem arise it would be a
hassle to look for a way to solve it.
Time Management
I did managed time well according to my
schedule in producing the product. With
additional time I could’ve added more
interesting features to my product by adding
more characters, costumes and even maybe
props such as birds, trees and even people on
the product. With this it may make my product
appeal more to my targeted primary audience
with the correct psychographic.
Technical Qualities
SIMILARATIES
• They both have the same genre which
is a platform game
• They both have a rewarding system in
the game
• They both included predators in the
game that the character need to avoid
• They both took place at night
• The character need to run and jump to
win the game
DIFFERENCES
• Right has more props rather than left
• The duration of the game on the right is
shorter rather than on the right.
• The character on the right is bigger than
the left
Aesthetic Qualities
I do believe my work is good and unique. The part that I love the most about
the product is the background because I spent most of my time drawing the
background and I think it is the main attraction of this game. I would improve
the Pterodactyl into a better and bigger version so that it will look more
intimidating. I would’ve improve it by choosing a better example for my
dinosaur so that I could produce a better dinosaur.
STRENTGHS
My product is unique
and different from
other existing products
in the market right
now. The interesting
props and characters
will appeal towards my
desired audience.
WEAKNESS
I would say my
product’s weakness
would be my dinosaur.
I think the dinosaur is
too small to be
looking intimidating.
The facial features of
the dinosaur as well
isn’t scary enough.
Audience Appeal
15 years old to
people who are 24
years old would love
this product because
it is not old fashioned
and contain a
rewarding system
that includes getting
starlight token.
Male audience would be interested in my
product because I used a male character
with a masculine physique and colours on
his shirt.
My aimed
psychographic is
belongers. This is
because the game
contains trendy props
and costumes that fir
belongers to enjoy
during their free
time.
Lower middle class people would
enjoy this game because it is free
and easily accessible the internet.
Peer
Feedback
Feedback 1
• What did you like about the product?
– I think the product is unique because I haven’t
seen a platform game that takes place inside a
forest.
• What improvements could have been made to
the product?
– The dinosaur should be bigger and more
menacing looking.
Feedback 2
• What did you like about the product?
– I like it because it is easy and simple. I think that’s
what made this game fun and interesting.
• What improvements could have been made to
the product?
– I think the male character should be more unique
and not copy the lay out of Mario.
Feedback 3
• What did you like about the product?
– I think its nice because of the sound effect it
brought me memories back when I was a child.
• What improvements could have been made to
the product?
– The movement of the character is too laggy and
unnatural.
Peer Feedback Summary
• What do you agree with from your peer
feedback?
– I agreed the my dinosaur needs to be sinister
looking.
– I agree I need to more creative with my main
character
• What do you disagree with from your peer
feedback?
– I disagree that my character was laggy because I
think his movement was alright.
Peer Feedback Summary
I would like to make my character again and do it more creatively
and add my own twist to it rather copy of from Mario and
change the clothes just to avoid copyright.
I would also like to change my pterodactyl to make it look more
scary so that it can attract more people to play it. This is because
people will find it interesting by looking at a dinosaur that is
intimidating. In order to prevent from my game being “laggy” in
the future. I’ll add more layer of the character and arrange it
properly so that the movement of the character won’t be
awkward nor laggy.

  • 3. Research • STRENGTH I was able to find things in common from all the games that I have researched. From those things I summarise the things that make up the game and take it as examples when I did my game. • WEAKNESS The weakness of the research was I find it hard to find the one that is suitable to the one that I had in mind. I could’ve research more products to find suitable examples for me to produce my game. It would’ve make my game much more interesting and more enjoyable.
  • 4. Planning • STRENGTH Planning makes my production went smoothly and accordingly. Everything went smoothly without distraction and planning made me keep track of my progress and help me to complete my work. • WEAKNESS Planning takes time to properly construct it. Things sometimes doesn’t always go to plan and if a problem arise it would be a hassle to look for a way to solve it.
  • 5. Time Management I did managed time well according to my schedule in producing the product. With additional time I could’ve added more interesting features to my product by adding more characters, costumes and even maybe props such as birds, trees and even people on the product. With this it may make my product appeal more to my targeted primary audience with the correct psychographic.
  • 6. Technical Qualities SIMILARATIES • They both have the same genre which is a platform game • They both have a rewarding system in the game • They both included predators in the game that the character need to avoid • They both took place at night • The character need to run and jump to win the game DIFFERENCES • Right has more props rather than left • The duration of the game on the right is shorter rather than on the right. • The character on the right is bigger than the left
  • 7. Aesthetic Qualities I do believe my work is good and unique. The part that I love the most about the product is the background because I spent most of my time drawing the background and I think it is the main attraction of this game. I would improve the Pterodactyl into a better and bigger version so that it will look more intimidating. I would’ve improve it by choosing a better example for my dinosaur so that I could produce a better dinosaur. STRENTGHS My product is unique and different from other existing products in the market right now. The interesting props and characters will appeal towards my desired audience. WEAKNESS I would say my product’s weakness would be my dinosaur. I think the dinosaur is too small to be looking intimidating. The facial features of the dinosaur as well isn’t scary enough.
  • 8. Audience Appeal 15 years old to people who are 24 years old would love this product because it is not old fashioned and contain a rewarding system that includes getting starlight token. Male audience would be interested in my product because I used a male character with a masculine physique and colours on his shirt. My aimed psychographic is belongers. This is because the game contains trendy props and costumes that fir belongers to enjoy during their free time. Lower middle class people would enjoy this game because it is free and easily accessible the internet.
  • 10. Feedback 1 • What did you like about the product? – I think the product is unique because I haven’t seen a platform game that takes place inside a forest. • What improvements could have been made to the product? – The dinosaur should be bigger and more menacing looking.
  • 11. Feedback 2 • What did you like about the product? – I like it because it is easy and simple. I think that’s what made this game fun and interesting. • What improvements could have been made to the product? – I think the male character should be more unique and not copy the lay out of Mario.
  • 12. Feedback 3 • What did you like about the product? – I think its nice because of the sound effect it brought me memories back when I was a child. • What improvements could have been made to the product? – The movement of the character is too laggy and unnatural.
  • 13. Peer Feedback Summary • What do you agree with from your peer feedback? – I agreed the my dinosaur needs to be sinister looking. – I agree I need to more creative with my main character • What do you disagree with from your peer feedback? – I disagree that my character was laggy because I think his movement was alright.
  • 14. Peer Feedback Summary I would like to make my character again and do it more creatively and add my own twist to it rather copy of from Mario and change the clothes just to avoid copyright. I would also like to change my pterodactyl to make it look more scary so that it can attract more people to play it. This is because people will find it interesting by looking at a dinosaur that is intimidating. In order to prevent from my game being “laggy” in the future. I’ll add more layer of the character and arrange it properly so that the movement of the character won’t be awkward nor laggy.
