The main topic would
mainly be about
upcoming music and/or
latest song released and
debate about what
could it mean, what’s
the approach used by
the musician and how
certain melody can
change how we feel.
The main discussion
would be histories of
events that
happened during the
past and how it
shaped humanity in
today’s age. I would talk about movies from
across the globe and even age.
We would mainly focus on what
was the producers approach on
making the film.
I would make one with a horror/thrill theme.
The plot would be characters will be chased by
monsters into safety.
I would talk about
new games that came
out and reminisce on
old games that
reminds us of our
childhood.
I would make a case
filled with
interesting features
such as characters
and actions
moments on the
case itself
I would make a front
page filled with hints of
what articles are inside
filled with catchy
phrases.
SHORT ANIMATED DEMO GAME.
1. Title = Run. I think this title will appeal to my targeted audience because the of the genre that
I’m trying to go for my animated game.
2. Genre = Thriller/Action. The reason why I’m going for this genre is because I think my animated
game would be more appealing if there are thrilling moments or action movements in it.
3. Targeted Audience = My primary audience would be 15-25 years old. This is because I think my
product is more suitable towards this age spectrum because younger people are often like to
spend their time on something that they consider fun. My secondary audience be 26-36 years
old. This is because people from this age spectrum would consider something to play to release
stress from their everyday life.
4. Walkthrough = This animated demo game will start at a forest where an explorer was walking
through the forest and interacted with someone. Then 2 monkeys starting to chase him and he
needs to go to a shed to survive.
5. The kit that I’ll be using would mostly be a computer and the programmes would mainly be
Premier Pro and Photoshop to complete my FMP.
6. The animated demo game will only last less than a minute.
7. The primary psychographic for my product is belongers because the game is mainly about having
fun with trendy sound effects for these type of people to enjoy. With adding catchy sound
effects retro games are starting to become famous again which I think will definitely appeal to
belongers. My second psychographic would be achievers this is because achievers are busy and
doesn’t like to do things that waste their day or time. Hence, by playing the demo game these
type of people could relax and take a break from the world.
8. My product appeals to all genders as the purpose of the game is for everyone to enjoy and relax.
Mood Board
Mood Board Analysis
Is there any repetition in the images you have collected?
Repeated colours/images styles/fonts/tone/mood
The repeated colours are dark colours such as black, maroon and navy blue. The
reason it may use these colours is because it emphasise more on the atmosphere that
it is trying to create so that the audience will be completely immersed into it The
images styles are adventurous and thrilling. With this is may appeal more to them
especially There are no fonts used in those game. The mood of the game would
mainly would be eerie and mysterious. This is probably because their targeted
audience prefer platform games that have the an eerie mood.
How will your mood board influence your final product?
I will use the layout of the games but I’ll definitely add my own twist so that it is more
appealing and unique. I’ll also made my own characters, setting and props from
scratch. Then I would draw feedbacks from my targeted audience so that the things
that I decided to include in the game will be able to attract them hence making my
product more appealing.
Informal Proposal
Current Idea
Concept My product is going to be a demo animation game where its about an explorer trapped
in the woods and being chased by a couple of monkeys. The plot will start when an
explorer saw a stranger and continues having a brief discussion with him. Then
Type of
products you
would make
• A demo animated game
• Poster/front cover
• App logo
What you will
need to make
them
To make the poster/front cover and an app logo I would need usage access to Photoshop so that I
will be able to create my project and finish it in time. However, for my demo animated game I
would need usage access to Premier Pro. With the experience that I have with accessing
Photoshop, Premier Pro and google I’ll be able to finish my project smoothly and in time.
Audience My primary audience would be 15-25 years old. This is because I think my product is more suitable towards this age
spectrum because younger people are often like to spend their time on something that they consider fun. My
secondary audience be 26-36 years old. This is because people from this age spectrum would consider something to
play to release stress from their everyday life. My product’s primary gender is male because it is an action/thriller,
but it is open to all genders to enjoy as it does not contain anything that may offend them. The primary
psychographic would be belongers because I will put catchy and trendy effects such as characters and props that
people nowadays are into. Remakes of retro games as well is the new trend these days where the same genre of
games are being produced but with a twist. My second psychographic would be achievers, this is because achievers
are busy during their day and this form of entertainment can help them to take a break from outside world where
they could just relax and destress themselves. My product’s primary geodemographic would be United Kingdom this
is because the whole new trend of remaking retro games is local and not international so Britons would definitely
enjoy it but audiences out there is not guaranteed. My product’s secondary geodemographic would be to English-
speaking countries as I would include dialogues between characters to add more features to my animated game.
The primary social grade would be working class this is because I am offering a cheap price for my product because I
want my product to become accessible and enjoyed by everyone without discrimination.
Choices
Discounted ideas Reasons for not choosing this
project
Podcast • Too much time consuming.
• Not interesting enough as I can’t add a
lot of content in it.
• A hassle as I need to include someone as
a guest and everyone is busy.
Magazine • Not challenging enough for me as I think
I can finish it quickly with a good quality.
• I can’t add a lot of content in it as the
project limits my creativity.
