The Aesthetica Film Festival showcased short films made by university students and independent filmmakers, giving attendees a view of the types of films being made and how film programs operate. The festival also included a lecture by a film director and a Channel 4 director that provided helpful industry advice, answered questions, and gave insight into pursuing a career in film.

1. Aesthetica Film Festival
At the Aesthetica film festival I was able to watch many short films
from university students and other film makers. We were able to see
the type of films you can make and how the universities operate.
Another thing we did at the festival was a lecture by a film director
and a channel 4 film director. This lecture was very good as it gave
lots of industry advice and help and answered lots of questions
about a future in the industry.
