Nutritional, and Impulse Products for the Companion Animal (Primarily Dogs & Cats) and
Livestock Markets, sold through Major Retailers like PetSmart, PETCO as well as Independents;
and Veterinary Distributors Nationally. With omnipresence in nearly 25 Countries and a growing

Responsibilities: The Indirect Purchasing Manager will guarantee the reliability of the Purchases under their
responsibility in terms of Quality, Service, and Delivery while managing and optimizing the Costs
of Purchases in accordance with the Objectives, Budgets, Policies, and Specifications; Proposing
and implementing appropriate Cost Reduction Plans by ensuring non-dependence on one
Supplier; developing Relationships with Suppliers (Suppliers Relationship Management (SRM))
and providing regular Assessments of the most sensitive Partners and suggesting "Best in Class"
Partners to make deals. Analyze and define the Expense Perimeters, Forecasted Savings with
each Manager including Action Plans, and ensure the appropriate level of Reporting keeping in-
line with Financial Department Guidelines. Consolidate Purchasing Data for the Territory to
produce appropriate KPI's providing Analysis, Action Plans, and Feedback to Internal Clients.
Provide Training, Development, and Management to ensure Staff is up to date on Job Definitions,
Objectives, and Performance Assessments while fostering effective and positive Communication
and generating synergy and improved efficiency.
PERSONALITY: Exemplary Candidate will have a strong understanding of the importance of Teamwork, working
together toward a Common Vision, and possess the ability to Direct Individual Accomplishments
to Organizational Objectives. Position will require strong Communication, Analytical,
Organizational and Negotiation Skills with the capability to work under Tight Deadlines while

EXPERIENCE: Qualified Candidates are should hold a Business School Degree with Purchasing Specialization
as well as possess knowledge of the Indirect Purchasing families (Marketing, CAPEX, General
Expenses, Consulting, etc.), knowledge of Standard and Dedicated IT Tools (MS Office and
JDE), experienced in Negotiations, defining appropriate Purchasing Action Plans, creating
Contracts with appropriate conditions (Legal, Quality, and Commercial), and Evaluating
Suppliers.
COMPENSATION: While no Candidate with the specific required qualifications will be eliminated for compensation
reasons, our Client has targeted this Position in the $80,000-$1000,000 (commensurate with
experience) range with Bonus potential. Benefits include: Health, Medical, and Life Insurance,
