providing HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, and Automotive Products to the OEM and Retail Channels.
Company is currently generating Sales of nearly $70 million with Products sold throughout the U.S.
to Major National Retailers, 2–Step Distributors, and Regional Chains in the Industry, boasting
respected Clientele like Home Depot, ACE, Menards, Wal-Mart, K-Mart, Sears, etc. Our Client
enjoys a Customer Base that includes virtually every well-known Retailer and Distributor in the
Home Improvement/Hardware Industry and supports its position through Facilities exceeding
300,000 Sq. Ft. in multiple locations in the U.S. and China.
LOCATION: Chicago vicinity.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Reporting directly to the Office Manager this position will be the direct contact person in
establishing, maintaining and managing Customer Relationships. Responsible for all activities
(except for the Sales function) which includes Expediting Orders, Maintaining Customer Information
Data, Special Requests, and Problem Resolution for Complaints or Delivery Issues. Additionally
responsible for providing support to the Sales Staff through Communication of Customer Issues
and Data Analysis to be utilized for improving Sales and Customer Satisfaction. Necessary
functions will include providing exceptional Customer Service and Support to Sales Team and
Customers; Managing (1) one Customer Service Support person in receiving & processing Orders
and assisting to ensure timely Delivery to the Customer; Accurately enter Orders utilizing the
Company's Software Systems to determine availability, pricing, delivery methods and note special
Customer requirements. Maintaining Customer Database while working with related Departments
to set up New Accounts, send Samples and maintain Quote & Pricing Files. Work hand-in-hand
with Sales & Purchasing Departments to keep them abreast of Product and Sales problems while
following up with Sales, Customers, and other Departments in regards to Customers, Orders, and
Issues and Resolutions. Establish Reports and Analysis of Sales including other Performance
Based Measures. Maintaining the Integrity of Confidential Business and Product information is a
Must!
PERSONALITY: Successful individual will be a self-starter, “team player” with a commitment to excellence in
Customer Service. Able to prioritize multiple tasks. This person should be creative and skilled at
gathering and analyzing information from multiple sources, and at researching options and
alternative solutions to problems. Must possess strong oral and written communication skills, along
with excellent listening ability. A strong leader, passion for the business with a pulse on the
Industry regarding trends, changes and ideas.
EXPERIENCE: Ideal Candidate will posses (5) five years of work related experience with the ability to work
independently and to meet tight Deadlines. Must be able to establish & maintain working
relationships with Customers and Staff in other Departments. Must have Intermediate Microsoft
Office skills which include Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
COMPENSATION: Our Client has targeted a Salary of $42,000 (commensurate with experience). Benefits include:
