1CLIENT: An established (over 60 years) Importer and Distributor of a variety of Finished and Rough,
Carded and Bulk Plumbing, Kitchen and Bath Products. Company is currently generating Sales
of nearly $70 million with Products sold throughout the U.S. to Major National Retailers, 2–Step
Distributors, and Regional Chains in the Industry, boasting respected Clientele like Home Depot,
ACE, Menards, Wal-Mart, K-Mart, Sears, etc. Our Client enjoys a Customer Base that includes
virtually every well-known Retailer and Distributor in the Home Improvement/Hardware Industry
and supports its position through Facilities exceeding 300,000 Sq. Ft. in multiple locations in the
U.S. and China.
LOCATION: Eau Claire, WI vicinity.
RESPONSIBILITIES: This is a Salaried, full-time position (available due to a promotion) with sole responsibility being
that of the Onsite Vendor performing multiple responsibilities relative to facilitating timely and
accurate Order-Fulfillment Process including collecting and analyzing Data for Sales Trends and
Forecasting purposes while Analyzing information and developing recommendations to drive
Sales Opportunities, Improve Margins, and Increase Inventory Turns. Responsible for monitoring
Exception Reports as well as setting up and monitoring SKU Replenishment Standards and
Status; making recommendations for Category Inventory Levels to achieve optimal Profitability,
Ensure Maximum Turns and In-stock Position; supporting Strategic Planning Functions which
include identifying Key Advertising Drivers for Sales Development while ensuring timely Problem
Resolution and Customer Satisfaction; Forecasting and Tracking Daily Sales, Replenishment
Scheduling, and Logistics Coordination that provides for effective and efficient Order Fulfillment,
Leveraging Analytical skills to identify Shortage Opportunities, uncovering Root Causes,
proposing Solutions and driving Change. Occasional Travel, locally into Clients and Competitors
Stores for Business Trends, Problem Identification and Resolutions.
PERSONALITY: A detail oriented, analytical thinking individual capable of developing and maintaining effective
working relationships with the Vendor's Employees, Suppliers, and Customers; promoting and
maintaining the Professional Image and Reputation of the Company with limited(if any)
supervision.
EXPERIENCE: The Ideal Candidate will be a high energy professional, Consumer Products motivated, have a
demonstrated ability to complete Complex Projects simultaneously meeting Objectives,
Timelines, and achieving Positive Financial results for the Company and the Vendor and
possessing an "eye for product promotions". Solid general Math Skills required for Business
Analysis, Promotional Planning, and Profitability Analysis. Must have Microsoft Office skills
including Excel. College Degree preferred.
COMPENSATION: Target Base Salary will be Commensurate with experience plus Bonus, supported by Health,
Medical, Dental, Life, Disability Insurance, 401K, Profit Sharing, Paid Holidays and Vacation.
