Ladders), Aquarium stands, and Accessories (over 1,000 SKU's) generating Annual Sales of $10-
$15 Million. Products are Manufactured, Assembled, Packaged and Shipped from their Asian
Operations to the Facilities in the U.S. and sold throughout the Nation to Regional and National
Retailers such as Marshalls, T.G.I. Maxx, PetSmart, and PETCO as well as Independent Retail

LOCATION: Mid-Atlantic Region.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Reporting directly to the President, this position will be responsible for all Physical Operations and
Supporting Functions to maintain and improve upon the day-to-day activities for our Client’s
40,000+ sq. ft. of Distribution Center. Duties include Management of the Production Department,
Inventory Control, Transportation, Systems Development, 3PL, Facilities Maintenance, Security,
MRO Purchasing, Basic Human Resource Functions, Quality, Cost Control and coordination with
all other Departments within the Company. Responsible for Hands-on Training, Leadership,
Direction and Motivation to the Staff resulting in Outstanding Customer Satisfaction. Direct
reports will include Production Manager, Material Handling Personnel, Inventory Control
Manager, Shipping/Receiving Personnel, Order Filling Manager, Warehouse Manager and
Indirect Staff reports.
PERSONALITY: A self-management personality, accustomed and comfortable with working in an entrepreneurial
environment within a family owned business. Must exhibit a strong work ethic, high energy level,
self confidence, and the ability to adapt to the rapidly changing, complex and diverse environment
of the Organization.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 10 years experience in Distribution Management and a minimum of (5) five years
experience as the lead Logistics Executive with demonstrated P&L responsibility, familiar with
Fill-Rates, Inventory Obsolescence and running a Clean, Lean Operation effectively. Strong
focus on Employee Relations, People Skills, Customer satisfaction, Quality, Cost Control and
Systems Development. A verifiable track record of Professional growth, working all areas of a
Supply-chain environment: Operations (Pick-Pack-Ship, Receiving) Production; (Packaging,
Conveying, Kitting) Planning; (Forecasting, Sales, Staffing, Budgets, Layout, Profile, Flows,
Equipment) Inventory Control; (Overstock, Audits, Cycle Counts, Profiling) Human Resources;
(Employee Relations, Hiring Training and Motivation, Payroll, Safety, Development and OSHA)
Facilities: (Maintenance, Housekeeping, Safety) Transportation; (Negotiations, Selections,
Leasing, Audits, MRO Purchasing, Third Party, Locations and IT Systems) working closely and in
cooperation with all other Departments. Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Logistics or Engineering
is desired.
COMPENSATION: Target Base Salary at $100,000 (commensurate with experience) with Potential Bonus. Benefits
