Williams, Major Distributors: Emery Waterhouse, DITEQ, Specialty Distributors: White Cap/HD Supply,
Catalog/E-Commerce: Amazon.com, SEARS, and numerous MRO Suppliers: Grainger, McMaster-Carr
to name just a few servicing end-users in the DIY, Remodeler/Contractor Channels. Products are sold
throughout the U.S. targeting the Construction and Remodeler Industries involving Drywall, Concrete,
Paint/Wallpaper and Sundries or anything requiring a dust controlled environment. Due to continued
growth, New Product Introduction and Technological Innovation, their Sales, Market Expansion and
Distribution Channels have increased consistently contributing the need for an experienced Sales
Management Executive to train a Sales Staff to help meet the demands of efficiently designing a
Strategic Business plan to capture Market Expansion and support a projected growth to nearly triple
their Sales Volume in the next 3-5 years.
LOCATION: Rocky Mountain Region.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Reporting directly to the President, this position will be responsible for New Business, and existing
Clients providing Leadership to Sales & Sales Support Staff, directing all functions of the Sales and
Marketing Departments, Developing Annual Sales Plans & Strategies for aggressive Sales Goals.
Duties include Supervision of 4 Direct Reports, Managing Inside & Outside Sales Reps, tracking
progress, defining Compensation and Incentive Programs that motivate the Sales Team. Conducting
visits to develop and maintain good relationships with Reps, Dealers & Distributors, and Customers.
Works closely with R&D and Production, participating in New Product Development providing Sales
Forecast estimates, Marketing Strategies and ROI for each Project. Monitoring Company websites
and providing Sales Statistics. Works with Accounting to determine Margins and Competitive Pricing,
Terms of Contracts. Other duties include: Assist Executive Management in the development of the
Annual Business Plan including Revenue, Income and Expense Targets and Projections. Heavy Travel
estimated at first, but overall target is 30% Annually.
PERSONALITY: Successful individual will be a self-starter, “team player” with a commitment to excellence. Able to
prioritize multiple tasks. This person should be creative and skilled at gathering and analyzing
information from multiple sources, and at researching options and alternative solutions to problems.
Must possess strong oral and written communication skills, along with excellent listening ability. A
strong leader, passion for the business with a pulse on the Industry regarding trends, changes and
ideas.
EXPERIENCE: Candidate will possess a BA or BS in Marketing, Management or related field. MBA a plus with a
minimum of (5) five years Sales / Sales Management experience in Consumer Products, with at least
(3) three years experience Managing Large National Accounts. Individual will have successful Sales
skills and Merchandising background possessing previous knowledge and contacts with the above
Channels and Markets, holding a track record of successfully leading a Team through the entire Sales
and Marketing process. Solid general Math Skills required for Business Analysis, Promotional
Planning, and Profitability Analysis. Must have Microsoft Office skills including Excel.
