I may be going for a higher age range as my trailer will be aboutquite a dark topic about the contrastbetween

language and gore.I will be restricting the age to be at least15-30.My trailer will be focusing on two male
characters which means itmaynot relate to a female audience however the plot isn’tfocused on male
behaviour but rather the minds ofnormal and abnormal.This means thatmy projectwill be targeting for both
genders as Iwant an opinion and review from both demographics. Ithink it would be more leaning to male as
statisticallymore men go to watch films especiallyfor one that includes violence. For my social class,Iwill
mostdefiantlybe focusing on A, B, C1 as they are mostlikelyto be going into a cinema to watch a
psychological film.Iwill mostlikely be focused on a balanced psychographic as I’m hoping to educate them
aboutmentallybroken people.
Rationale (approx. 100 words)
On my firstrotation I started with gaming and learned quite a lot of the terminologyaboutgames and whatis
required to make one however the main projectwas to make an animation and nota playable game which
only satisfied myneed to make an entertaining film.With the animation Ilearnthow to make something
visually pleasing such as colouring and composition which Ithink has more importance within film.The
projectI created didn’tintrigue me to make games butto animate.My next rotation studied the topic of filming
which intrigued me a lot as I am fascinated with the techniques directors use to emphasise a scene. This
rotation allowed me to testmy ideas and representmystories with interesting ways.Ihave also learnta lot
aboutcolour grading,lighting and handling a camera such as the ISO, shutter speed and vision colour which
gave me a better understanding and motivation to choose film as myFMP. The next and final rotation is print.
I was mostlyinterested into making posters,the front cover and DPS of magazines rather than a website as it
allowed me to express news and information in an attractive way. I disliked making a website as I had to us e
Wix as it felt fairly limited meaning Icouldn’tconvey a website in my own ideas.This rotation allowed me to
learn aboutPhotoshop and InDesign. By experimenting in Photoshop,motivated me to make a poster or
film/comic covers which leaded me back to film.All these rotations all have relation to film as film requires
most,if not all formats of media such as,music,print,literature etc.
Project Concept (approx. 200 words)
My project will be a trailer of a psychological film meaning Ican put together scenes without having a strict
script.The plot will be focusing on a sociopathic character thatkeeps to strict routine in order to keep his dark
thoughts away and to fit in. This routine consists ofbeing alone butwhen the second character is introduced
he tries tagging along with the protagonisttrying to find a friend. The protagonistis slowlybecoming anxious
and enraged as he despises the new character.This exaggerated feeling will be conveyed with
cinematography.The protagonistwill have visions and hallucinations emphasising his mental incapability’s.
the trailer will start slowlywith a narrative from the protagonistsummarising his life till the second character is
introduced.The trailer will take a turn and will speed up.I will edit the footage within premier such as the
colour grading in order to capture the scenario.The scenario and colour grading will be fitted with the camera
angles Iuse making the scenario have more of an effect. The music would also accompanywith techniques
making mytrailer feel more immersive. I will have title screens within mytrailer in order to make it look more
professional and with this I will have reviews and companynames.
Evaluation (approx. 50 words)
To evaluate my work in detail I will reflect my process into a PowerPointshowing mywork in detail and depth
making iteasier for me evaluate as whole.My reflection will be a like evaluating while I’m working on my
project. This will also help me analyse deeplyas it will give me information ofwhat I was thinking atthe time.
