Graphic Design Production
Advantages of working in this medium:
The advantages of using this method is that its easy to import photos
from other websites because you can simply click on a image and
paste it into Photoshop. It also organizes all the images nice and neatly.
Its also easy to select an image out of multiple images because you can
select it by clicking the layer and edit it.
Disadvantages of working in this medium:
The disadvantage of using this method is that its time consuming to
remember where everything is because there is a load of tools and the
layout is confusing. Its also time consuming of what tools do what
because the items aren’t labelled.
Graphic Design Production
I used the same logo
for my final product
however I changed the
colour and placed the
logo in the top middle
of the page
I added social website
icons in my final
product where in my
plan I didn’t
I kept the same font
however I changed the
slogan to “all natural
taste”
I also changed the
animal to an armadillo
where the plan was a
bear
I changed from coca cola to coca
cola life and stacked them. In
my layout it was a bottle of coke
and in my final product is was a
water hole shooting out water
Graphic Design Production
One of my strengths in my
final product is the design
of the logo it stands out
than the older design I had.
I used the colour range tool
to crop the design and to
change the colour I used
the blending option
One of my weaknesses in
my final product is that I
couldn’t merge the
sparklers into the
armadillos hand
One of my weaknesses
in my final product is the
writing in the middle of
the page, I would
improve/change this by
adding effects
One of my changes
would be to move the
stacked coke life cans
out of the way because
it makes the poster
scruffy One of my strengths in my
final product is the
cropping out of the
backgrounds of the
armadillos. I did this by
using the magic wand tool
I would change the
location of the social
media icons from the
left hand corner to the
bottom left corner
I would change the
background to
something more related
to coke
Radio Production
• Advantages of working in this medium
– Adobe audition has a quick learning curve to
remember the tools.
– You can visually see the sound and change the
pitch of the sounds which is great because its easy
to use.
• Disadvantages of working in this medium
– The equipment to record the radio and adobe
audition is confusing because its hard to
remember what button’s/tools do what.
Radio Production
.
The similarities to my final product and to the similar
product is the fizzes that are made by opening the can.
The difference between the other advert is it has beach
waves where my advert has jazzy music. Another
similarity is the refreshing sound of coca cola. The
difference is that my advert has more coke sounds and
fizz sounds. My advert has also got refreshing drip
sounds, another difference is that my voice is in the
advert saying “Ice cold refreshment” and “coca cola
ahhh”, where there advert doesn’t
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WeAt8lRvSHs
Radio Production
The strengths in my final product is that the music fades
out and creates a better effect for the Coca-Cola ad, to do
this I used the “fade out” tool . The timing is perfect with
the other audio and therefore creating amazing effects
but could be better. A weakness with my product is that I
don’t have much sound effects/audio therefore making
my final product empty, to solve this I should of used the
recorder. Another weakness is that the pitch hadn't been
changed much therefore creating it awful, to solve this I
should of turned the “pitch” tool to create a better
sound. Another strength is that the volume was changed
to counter the loud jazzy background music, to do this I
used the “volume” tool.
Video Game Experiments
Video Game Production
• Advantages of working in this medium
– The advantages of working in this medium was that it had a easy
learning curve to remember the tools and what to do. Another
advantage is that once you leaned what to do it was simple.
– Another advantage is that the tools did most of the work for you
which gives you a tiny advantage of getting the work done faster
• Disadvantages of working in this medium
– The disadvantages of working in this medium was that it was time
consuming making each frame and moving the length of how long
each frame should be. It was also confusing because I couldn’t
find/remember the tools for editing.
– Overall I didn’t like this method because it was time consuming
making each frame and moving the length of the frame so it would be
suitable for my final product. It was also confusing because I couldn't
find/remember the tools for editing, however it had a easy learning
curve to remember the tools and what to do.
Video Game Production
The similarities between my product and the other product are that they both involve the
advertisement of a company for example in my advergame I have Coca-Cola and in the other
advergame it has the clown from Mc Donald's. Another similarity is they both have a platform
background drop that’s green on top and also has enemy's to battle.
The differences are that my advergame is a fighting game similar to street fighter with
weapons where the other advergame is a platformer with no weapons. Another difference is
the background, for example my advergame is based on a cliff where the other advergame is
based on flat ground.
Video Game Production
My strength in my final
product is the background
of the advergame which
gives a new fresh look onto
the game.
My weakness in my final
design is the advergame is
not good enough. I would
change the frame time on
the advergame to solve this.
Another strength in my final
product is the colour of the
“go” sign stands out to the
viewer to let them know
when the fight begins. To do
this I used the pencil tool to
colour the sign.
Another strength is the
advergame advertises
Coca-Cola which makes
the viewer want to drink
Coca-Cola.
I would change the
design of the coca-cola to
make it more realistic
than before.
Another strength would be
the heath bars at the top
show how much heath the
player has.
The tools I used are: Pencil,
select image, eye drop, crop
and magic wand
Comparison
• Which product do you believe advertises the product the best? Why?
The product that advertises it the best is the radio product because it makes the
audience thirsty and make them want to buy a coke. My radio production is targeted
between the ages of 13 or above, It also is targeted at males and females. The coke
branding involves sounds of fizzes from opening a can of coke and a voice saying
“Coca-Cola ahh” to make the listener to buy the refreshing beverage. The radio is not
offensive in any way, so therefore its available for English speaking regions of the
world. The audience will be interested in the product because it makes them intrigued
and subconsciously tells the listener to buy the ice cold refreshing drink to e.g. cool
them down or to either give the drinker a boost in energy.
• Which of your products is the most professional? Why?
The radio production is the most professional because its not offensive to the viewer
so it can be broadcasted in the English speaking regions. Another reason is because it
presents coke formally and subtle by giving a soft and gently radio broadcast to the
listeners ears.

2. production evaluation (final8`) 2-2-2-2

  • 3. Graphic Design Production Advantages of working in this medium: The advantages of using this method is that its easy to import photos from other websites because you can simply click on a image and paste it into Photoshop. It also organizes all the images nice and neatly. Its also easy to select an image out of multiple images because you can select it by clicking the layer and edit it. Disadvantages of working in this medium: The disadvantage of using this method is that its time consuming to remember where everything is because there is a load of tools and the layout is confusing. Its also time consuming of what tools do what because the items aren’t labelled.
  • 4. Graphic Design Production I used the same logo for my final product however I changed the colour and placed the logo in the top middle of the page I added social website icons in my final product where in my plan I didn’t I kept the same font however I changed the slogan to “all natural taste” I also changed the animal to an armadillo where the plan was a bear I changed from coca cola to coca cola life and stacked them. In my layout it was a bottle of coke and in my final product is was a water hole shooting out water
  • 5. Graphic Design Production One of my strengths in my final product is the design of the logo it stands out than the older design I had. I used the colour range tool to crop the design and to change the colour I used the blending option One of my weaknesses in my final product is that I couldn’t merge the sparklers into the armadillos hand One of my weaknesses in my final product is the writing in the middle of the page, I would improve/change this by adding effects One of my changes would be to move the stacked coke life cans out of the way because it makes the poster scruffy One of my strengths in my final product is the cropping out of the backgrounds of the armadillos. I did this by using the magic wand tool I would change the location of the social media icons from the left hand corner to the bottom left corner I would change the background to something more related to coke
  • 6. Radio Production • Advantages of working in this medium – Adobe audition has a quick learning curve to remember the tools. – You can visually see the sound and change the pitch of the sounds which is great because its easy to use. • Disadvantages of working in this medium – The equipment to record the radio and adobe audition is confusing because its hard to remember what button’s/tools do what.
  • 7. Radio Production . The similarities to my final product and to the similar product is the fizzes that are made by opening the can. The difference between the other advert is it has beach waves where my advert has jazzy music. Another similarity is the refreshing sound of coca cola. The difference is that my advert has more coke sounds and fizz sounds. My advert has also got refreshing drip sounds, another difference is that my voice is in the advert saying “Ice cold refreshment” and “coca cola ahhh”, where there advert doesn’t https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WeAt8lRvSHs
  • 8. Radio Production The strengths in my final product is that the music fades out and creates a better effect for the Coca-Cola ad, to do this I used the “fade out” tool . The timing is perfect with the other audio and therefore creating amazing effects but could be better. A weakness with my product is that I don’t have much sound effects/audio therefore making my final product empty, to solve this I should of used the recorder. Another weakness is that the pitch hadn't been changed much therefore creating it awful, to solve this I should of turned the “pitch” tool to create a better sound. Another strength is that the volume was changed to counter the loud jazzy background music, to do this I used the “volume” tool.
  • 10. Video Game Production • Advantages of working in this medium – The advantages of working in this medium was that it had a easy learning curve to remember the tools and what to do. Another advantage is that once you leaned what to do it was simple. – Another advantage is that the tools did most of the work for you which gives you a tiny advantage of getting the work done faster • Disadvantages of working in this medium – The disadvantages of working in this medium was that it was time consuming making each frame and moving the length of how long each frame should be. It was also confusing because I couldn’t find/remember the tools for editing. – Overall I didn’t like this method because it was time consuming making each frame and moving the length of the frame so it would be suitable for my final product. It was also confusing because I couldn't find/remember the tools for editing, however it had a easy learning curve to remember the tools and what to do.
  • 11. Video Game Production The similarities between my product and the other product are that they both involve the advertisement of a company for example in my advergame I have Coca-Cola and in the other advergame it has the clown from Mc Donald's. Another similarity is they both have a platform background drop that’s green on top and also has enemy's to battle. The differences are that my advergame is a fighting game similar to street fighter with weapons where the other advergame is a platformer with no weapons. Another difference is the background, for example my advergame is based on a cliff where the other advergame is based on flat ground.
  • 12. Video Game Production My strength in my final product is the background of the advergame which gives a new fresh look onto the game. My weakness in my final design is the advergame is not good enough. I would change the frame time on the advergame to solve this. Another strength in my final product is the colour of the “go” sign stands out to the viewer to let them know when the fight begins. To do this I used the pencil tool to colour the sign. Another strength is the advergame advertises Coca-Cola which makes the viewer want to drink Coca-Cola. I would change the design of the coca-cola to make it more realistic than before. Another strength would be the heath bars at the top show how much heath the player has. The tools I used are: Pencil, select image, eye drop, crop and magic wand
  • 13. Comparison • Which product do you believe advertises the product the best? Why? The product that advertises it the best is the radio product because it makes the audience thirsty and make them want to buy a coke. My radio production is targeted between the ages of 13 or above, It also is targeted at males and females. The coke branding involves sounds of fizzes from opening a can of coke and a voice saying “Coca-Cola ahh” to make the listener to buy the refreshing beverage. The radio is not offensive in any way, so therefore its available for English speaking regions of the world. The audience will be interested in the product because it makes them intrigued and subconsciously tells the listener to buy the ice cold refreshing drink to e.g. cool them down or to either give the drinker a boost in energy. • Which of your products is the most professional? Why? The radio production is the most professional because its not offensive to the viewer so it can be broadcasted in the English speaking regions. Another reason is because it presents coke formally and subtle by giving a soft and gently radio broadcast to the listeners ears.
