• Advantages of working in this medium
– An advantage of doing a radio production is that people can act more
confident over the radio as there face isn’t shown
– Another advantage of doing a radio production is that you can edit the
audio by putting effects in to make a good final product.
• Disadvantages of working in this medium
• A disadvantage of a radio production is when recording audio it can take
many attempts as the audio may not be loud enough or people are
inexperienced with the recording equipment.

• The real coca cola advert similar to my own radio advert because both adverts use
sound effects to make the advert sound energetic and upbeat to create a positive
and happy atmosphere. This advert also has a slogan at the end to try and make
this strap line stick in the viewer's head. The main difference between my final
product and this one is that this advert uses sound effects throughout and doesn't
have any background music whereas my advert has an upbeat song throughout. In
my radio advert we have multiple people talking during our advert whereas the
coca cola advert has only one person talking during the advert.
8. Radio Production
The strengths of our radio product were that we had a well
written script that was clear and simple enough to be learned.
Another strength is that the background music fits well with
the script and creates a positive atmosphere when listening
to it. Another strength is our slogan “Buy the coke, Drink the
cola!” Our slogan is catchy and simple meaning it will be easy
to remember by customers.
The weaknesses of our product were that we struggled to record
it as the equipment wasn't up to date. It was hard to use the
audio editing software as we haven't used it before.
Personally i would like to change the script so it was more
informative for customers.

– An advantage of video game production is that it is fun and engaging
to do.
– An advantage of video game production is that you can be as creative
as you want.
• Disadvantages of working in this medium
• A disadvantage of video game production is that there is a wide
competition in the game industry so you have make a game stand out.
• Another disadvantage is that the games audience is usually catered
towards the younger ages as they are the main consumer in video games.

These two games are extremely
similar as they are both simple
side scroller games
The art design on
mario is more
detailed in
comparison to my
game as they had
a lot more time to
develop the game

character design and the level
layout to add some actual
difficulty to the game and make it
challenging and fun
The character sprite will be
put into more detail by
making it look more like a
person by giving him facial
features and clothing
I would also like to
improve it by adding a
endgame scene saying
“game over” or “You win”
I would like to change
the background as
the game goes on to
shift from night and
day as the game
progresses and trying
to add obstacles for
the player to get over

• Which product do you believe advertises the
product the best? Why?
• The best method for advertising Coca-Cola would be social media as that
would go out to a wide audience and they could also create posters as
they would be easy to create and can be placed anywhere.
• Which of your products is the most
professional? Why?
• Personally I think my poster was the most professional as I put in more
time and effort into it. It was also the best quality as our radio advert
wasn’t well scripted.
