Graphic Design Production
• Advantages of working in this medium
– There is a lot of freedom to be able to create
exactly what you imagined.
• Disadvantages of working in this medium
– It’s hard to use graphic design software straight
away, as you need to learn to use it.
Graphic Design Production
Similarities: Bubble graphics, flat
coloured background, white
text.
Differences: this image uses
people, coca cola logo in the
corner, qr code
Similarities: photo of coke bottle, red
background, white text.
Differences: Coca cola logo, different
slogan,
Graphic Design Production
A strength of my final product is that it is consistent and
has a set colour scheme and style., only using the classic
coca cola red and white.
A weakness of my final product is that it includes no
social media or even a solid logo outside of the image of
the coke bottle. A change I would make is adding social
media and the coca cola logo in the corner of the poster.
Another strength is that despite the simplistic design, the
bubble graphics and the shadow detail on the coke bottle
make it look more interesting.
Another strength is that the final product is in a similar
style to existing modern coca cola advertisements, and
fits in with their style.
Another weakness is that there isn’t much information
on it besides it showing that the product is a beverage.
I created the final product in photoshop
and used different tools such as text,
shapes and clipping masks.
Radio Production
• Advantages of working in this medium
– Relatively easier and less work than a video
production
• Disadvantages of working in this medium
– You really need to overemphasize sounds to make
the message clear and paint an image in the
consumer’s mind as there is no video to do it for
them.
Radio Production
• The final product is a radio advertisement for Coca Cola. The
advertisement starts in a busy environment and a narrator
says “Ever have one of those days where you just need a
break?” and then a coke can is opened and the atmosphere
changes to a happy peaceful outside environment. The
narrator then says “Have a coca-cola. The taste that
refreshes.” and the coca-cola jingle plays.
• A similar product would be the Always Coca-Cola ad as both
that advertisement and my final product use the famous coca-
cola jingle at the end. A difference would be that that
advertisement uses a song whereas my product doesn’t and
instead opts for a narrative.

Radio Production
• Strengths of the product is that it’s clear, concise and
straight to the point.
• A weakness is that a lot of our recording methods
didn’t work as well as we would have liked and the
audio quality of the background noise was poor.
A change I would make to the product would be to
replace some of the background noise with better
material from the internet.
The tools used in production and post production was a
microphone, adobe audition, and adobe premiere.
Video Game Experiments
Video Game Production
• Advantages of working in this medium
– Engages the consumer and provides a fun
experience
• Disadvantages of working in this medium
– Complicated and takes a lot more work than other
forms of advertisement.
Video Game Production
Similarities
- Pixel art style
- Side-scroller
Differences
- You collect coke cans in my product
- The similar product has platforms and
has a more detailed map design.
Video Game Production
Strengths: A strength of my product is
that it is colourful and visually pleasing to
the viewer. I used the pencil tool in
photoshop to draw all of the assets.
Weaknesses: A weakness is that the
advergame is very short
To improve the product, I would make the
product longer and make it more detailed.
Comparison
• Which product do you believe advertises the
product the best? Why?
- I believe that the poster advertised the product best as
it can be shown to the most amount of people and
clearly shows what the product is.
• Which of your products is the most professional?
Why?
- I think my poster is the most professional as it
looks the best and looks like it could be used for a
real advertisement.
