Is there any repetition in the images you have collected?
Repeated colours/images styles/fonts/tone/mood
• One reason I chose these images is because most of them feature an image with
multiple people, which is what I would like to do for my product. I also really like
the low dim background lighting a lot of the images have, and I think it makes the
main images pop out a lot more and makes them stand out. The layout of text on
most of the images are basically the same and all follow a simple formula, which is
what I want to go with when creating my product. Another thing that these images
have in common is how the photos are set up in the images. A lot of them are very
action styled, and and give the characters on the front page different emotion,
which contrasts to the film they are a part of, for example, the Star Wars Last Jedi
cover shows the characters in a battle stance, which highlights the theme of the
film which is war / good vs evil.
How will your mood board influence your final product?
A lot of the images I have chosen have a similar style that I would like to import
onto my product. The images should help me capture the the right stances &
poses for product, as well as methods of putting multiple characters into one
image and how they can be placed to fill up the area they need to be in. Also
lighting techniques, to highlight the mood of the product, and the characters
emotions.
