The resistance in the

from its tissue foundation
especially in a vertical
direction.

27. DENTURE STABILITY
The resistance of a denture
to movement on its tissue
foundation, especially to
lateral (horizontal) forces.

28. DENTURE SUPPORT
The quality of a denture that
resists movement of a
denture toward the tissues.
