2. First, I added the background image, I chose this image as the images as the quality
looks very professional, the model is giving direct address and it is clear what the genre
is. Also, from taking the picture from the other side of the table it gives the audience
the feel that they're playing against the model which gets them feeling active.
3. Next, I inserted the masthead ‘Megamaga’, for this title, I used 2 layers again to give the
professional shadow effect. I believe the bright red colour contrasts very well with the blue
table tennis table. Again, I put the title at the top of the magazine again as this is a convention
of magazine covers so the masthead can be seen when on the shelves.
4. Next, I inserted the main cover line of ‘Ben Clarke’s favourite sport’, I ensured this was not only the biggest
size, but also a different font so it is clear that it is the most important one, I also made sure this cover line
linked with the image.
5. I then began to add the rest of the cover lines, they are all a similar size and placed all around
the sides of the magazine cover, I have changed the font slightly from the masthead and main
cover line, however decided to keep the color black as I believe it looks a lot better and more
professional.
6. This is a screen grab of the final look of the magazine cover, I added a couple of smaller cover
lines under the title and used a completely different font, this adds a bit of variety to the cover
and looks very good, additionally I ensured when positioning the cover lines I did not put any
text over the models face as it is essential we can see the models face.
