2. Firstly, I added the background image, I chose this image as the image is all in focus and
via his facial expression and the fact that he is pointing at the video game makes it clear
what the genre is about.
3. Then, I added the title ‘MegaMaga’, for this title I used 2 layers, a bright red and slightly darker
red layer, these layers give a really professional look and gives a nice shadow effect to the title.
I put the title at the top of the magazine as this is a code and convention of almost all magazine
covers.
4. Next, I added the main cover line of ‘Ben Clarke’s favourite video game’. I ensured this was the
biggest of the cover lines so it is clear that this is the most important one, I also made sure this
linked to the image.
5. I then began to add the rest of the cover lines, these cover lines are all a similar size and are placed
around the sides of the image, I have changed the font of these in comparison to the main cover line
and title, however have kept the text white as any other color looked very unprofessional and did not
look as good.
6. Here is a screenshot of the final look of the magazine cover, I added 2 smaller cover lines at the top of
the page below the title so there is a bit more variety in the photo and it looks less bland, I also made
sure that not of the cover lines covered the models face as it is important that we can see it.
