2. First, I put in the background image, I chose this image of the model inside the radio
room as it shows what the genre is about. The microphone prop and headset makes
it clear that the model is some sort of singer, also I like this image as the model looks
very happy and this makes for a good magazine cover.
3. Then, I added the title ‘MegaMaga’, for this title I used 2 layers, a bright red and slightly darker
red layer, these layers give a really professional look and gives a nice shadow effect to the title. I
put the title at the top of the magazine as this is a code and convention of almost all magazine
covers.
4. I then added the main cover line of ‘Aaliyah’s favourite songs’, I again ensured this was the biggest of the
cover lines so it is clear that this is the most important one, I also made sure this linked to the image.
5. I then added the rest of the cover lines, these cover lines are all a similar size and are placed
around the sides of the image, I have changed the font of these in comparison to the main cover
line and title, I also changed the color of one of the cover lines to add some variety to the
magazine cover.
6. Here is a screenshot of the final look of the magazine cover, I added 3 smaller cover lines at the top of
the page below the title, I believe this looks very professional and I also made sure that not of the cover
lines covered the models face as it is important that we can see it.
