2. The process of making my front cover. Firstly, in went around school and gathered all the photo’s I needed to make my magazine front cover and contents page, with a school camera. Then I uploaded all the pictures to my documents. Secondly I opened the picture which was my ‘main image on Photoshop. Where I then added my Masthead, and changed the colour and font to make my own unique style of font. So that my masthead is a trade mark for my magazine. Whilst in the process of making both my contents and my front cover I ensured that i was following the codes and conventions for a magazine front cover and contents page.

3. Next I added my main cover line ‘Best exam results in 5 years’ and adjusted the size font and colour. According to the codes and conventions the main cover line is what attracts the reader to the magazine, so this is the second biggest writing on the front cover. As it has to stand out to attract the target audience to buy the magazine. I then added all my other cover lines, ensuring that I am following the codes and conventions by framing the main image with the masthead and all of the cover lines. Also making sure that there is no writing on the models face.

4. My finished front cover Lastly, I inserted a big bold bright circular shape for my price with i think really stands out and will make the audience want to purchase. As it is a very reasonable price.

5. The process of making my contents page. Lastly I added all my features and regulars onto my first column. Ensuring that they are numbered, and that the numbers are in a different colour and different size. So that its stands out. Firstly I set my page out into 3 columns, then typed up the heading ‘Contents’. Ensuring that I changed the font, size and colour. Then I imported my four pictures, using ‘ctrl shift F’ to resize the image into the shape of the box drawn. Also the pictures have to be numbered according to the text. As the text anchors the meaning of the picture.
