2. After opening up and
importing my chosen photo
into a blank A4 portrait
template, I added my main
cover line which is “College
On A Budget”.
3. The next step was to add
my cover lines using the
same light blue as the main
cover line. I also added the
stroke and shadow effects
to the cover lines.
4. Next I added the masthead
to my front cover which I
was able to copy over from
my previous magazine.
5. I then changed the colour of
the masthead to match my
colour scheme.
6. I then adjusted the colours
of the photo to add a pale
pink tint to the image.
7. Then I added sublines to
my magazine cover using a
darker shade of blue to
make them stand out.
8. After adding the rest of my
sublines I imported an
image of a barcode and
added it to the bottom right
corner.
9. I then added the price and
issue number in the same
places as on my first front
cover.
10. The next thing I did was
use smart sharpen on the
photo to make the photo
more focused.
11. I then adjusted the
brightness and the contrast
of the image.
12. Finally, I adjusted the
space between the lines of
my main cover line, as well
as added my main subline.
