• infection; ingetion of oocyte from environment

• requires moisture and oxygen
• live in warm weather

• loss of apatite
• mucous or bloody diarrhea
• severity depending of numper of parasite
• rectal straining can lead prolapse
• sub_clinical can occur
• poor growth rate
• reduced feed most common
• dirtines around the tail
• can cause a death

6. diagnosis
• may be clinically paratisized after nor sheding any oocyte
• negative fecal test doesn't rule of out coccidiosis
• diffrential diagnosis
• salmonelosis
• e coli scours
• viral infections

8. treatment
• deccox aproved for young and no lactating sheep and
goat
• sulfa drugs[Sulfadimethoxine] 3.2cc per 5 lbs
• tetracycline
• dewormers doesn't effect coccidiosis
• sulfanamides[ e.g sulfamethazine]
