1. ADVERTISING CAMPAIGN PROPOSAL: Part 1
PROJECT TITLE
VESI WATER CAMPAIGN
PRODUCTS
Tv advert 3O seconds, radio advert 30 seconds, poster/ print advert landscape
PURPOSE
Promote – we’re trying to sell a new product for Coco Ltd
DESCRIPTION OF PRODUCTS
I am going to produce an advertising campaign for a new product (Vesi water) as part of the
promotional materials for Vesi Water such as, a tv advert, radio advert and a poster. The
purpose is to promote the new product, highlight its potential health benefits and capture
the attention of the audience. I must also consider the use of models as they must reflect the
target audience, e.g., they must be around the same age range (so teenagers and young
adults only or celebrities these age groups would both know very well). Since the campaigns
product is supposed to give audiences health benefits and must reflect the purity of this
product, the key message of this campaign is that you can maintain a healthy body while
doing any forms of exercise to keep you energised. The elements that I will feature in all
adverts are the product, establishing health benefits, reflecting the target audience (such as
using celebrities, trends and music both age ranges are used to and enjoy), models who
reflect the target audience and product. For the slogan I will be using ‘water purity’ as its
short, memorable and contains vesis message. The logo will involve a finish flower water
lily, as it’s the most common flower in Finland and is in the water and will involve the two
colours from vesi, which is blue and yellow. The flower will be followed by a streak of blue
and yellow northern lights to make it kind of look like a shooting star.

I will obviously be using close ups of the product, which is the vesi water bottle. A main key
theme in this advert having something to do with lightning to emphasise how the water
gives you this bolt of energy, along with having some sort of ocean in the background with a
character (neon) that resonates with the target audiences. The idea that involves all these
features is a ‘valorant’ collab using one of their characters Neon, which is a character who
uses speed and energy as her quirks/ powers. The plan is to use a mid-close up of Neon
running with a flash of yellow and blue behind her with the bottle slanted to the side in
between her running and the flash of colours quite large with Neon the tiniest bit blurred
out so the bottle is a bit more in focused.
FONT LIST FOR PRINT ADVERT AND AUDIO/VISUAL ADVERTS
I was thinking of using bubbly type water fonts to make it more excitable along with
lightning kind of fonts to express the products energy for the print advert where it will state
‘vesi’ and italic for the slogan. For the audio visual advert I was going to use a water bubbly
font for where it says vesi at the end title sequence with all the additional information that
shows at the end of adverts in the arial font.

the idea I have devolped for the audio visual advert involves the character Neon from the
game Valorant as her colour scheme is the same as the logo and the target audience usually
plays Valorant furthermore Neon’s ability is super speed and vesi’s thing is improving
energy. The premise is that a sister and brother (both ranging from 16 to 24 as that’s around
the target audience’s age) are both low on energy while playing Valorant on their PC, when
neon crashes through the wall and offers them the vesi water where she states that’s how
she manages to regain her speed after the siblings drink the water the room lights up and
the colour in their body’s return and they suddenly regain their energy. Camera shots will
mostly be mid shot and long shots along with tracking shots when focusing on models but
when focusing on the product it will be close ups.
SOUND FOR AUDIO/VISUAL AND AUDIO ADVERTS
I want crashing and intense sound effects such as lightning and sizzling to intensify the
effect of vesi’s water. Relaxing music that matches Finland’s vibe. The idea I am using for the
audio advert. uses the exact same premise as the visual audio advert meaning that I will be
using the same script just changing a few adjustments such as intensifying and including
more sounds of drinking and the sound of lighting surging through bodies. A main change is
that the two models will now be working out instead of playing video games.
TARGET AUDIENCE (AGE, GENDER, LIFESTYLE, INTERESTS, SPENDING
POWER)
The target audience is teenagers to young adults, both genders, all ethnicities and people
who lead a healthy lifestyle such as going to the gym or being active in general and need that
energy boost. Due to the fact those who will be drinking vesi are more likely to have a
healthy lifestyle I’m assuming those audiences will have a gym membership which can be
expensive so really the target audience are those with money to spend freely. However, it
can also be aimed at those who don’t have a lot of money as doing things such as jogging or
playing a sport for fun or with a club is free and those require energy. Due to the fact this is
aimed at both teens and young adults I’m assuming it’s mostly students in university and
college so vesi’s class audience would be the working class in tbe C2 grade.
RESOURCES
A camera to take pictures, procreate to create the logo, photoshop for the print advert, to
edit both the audio and visual adverts I’ll be using adobe video editor, a recording camera to
record scenes for the visual advert, and a microphone/ speaker to record voices for the
audio advert and voice effects.
