6. INTRODUCTION TO PRINT ADVERT
The slide above shows the final print advert. This will be used as posters to advertise vesi water. The print consists of solid background
characters used with the paint fill tool for the light blue on the 1st layer. The stripes were made using the rectangle shape behind neon. Then
when Neon was placed and adjusted size wise to fit the poster size, I used the pain tool and outer glow fx feature then messed around with
the sizing, opacity and spread to make the yellow bolts surrounding her to emphasise the fact that vesi will help audiences reach their ultimate
just like their favorite character. Then, I used the gradient tool to create the dark solid blue fade above all the mentioned layers. The reason I
used a plain solid background was so that there wasn't too much going on so it completley clashes therefore taking away attention from the
bottle, aswell as not only being vesi's colour theme but the colour blue also represents confidence and boldness which is the type of audience
we want to attract as those who take an interest in physical fitness and health tend to become confident and bold within themeslves or strives
for that type of confidence. I then added the light blue mesh behind the water bottle using the custom shape tool plainly because the bottle
looked very plain and boring by itself which wouldn’t attract eyes towards the product which is where we want them to be. I then proceeded
to add the logo to the poster to make sure it would be behind the font and adjust it, so it looks like a shooting star. This is because, like I
specified in the logo final ideas PowerPoint, this is how I intended the logo to symbolise so audiences believe vesi is their dream water born
from a wish. I used the 'BLUE OCEAN' font, which I downloaded from DAFONT, for the title 'vesi' as I wanted to use a water like font to remind
audiences vesi is a water campaign which this font does perfectly. I then proceeded to duplicate the layer and move the double text
horizontally from the original to make it look like a light blue shadow. This is because it matches the poster's artsy style this way and looks
more attractive. I proceeded to use 'Catalisya' font for the slogan as it reminded me of something I would see on a beach sign which made me
feel warm and think of summer which is what the effect I'm hoping to have on audiences as Coco Ltd requested these adverts to be released
by summer and beaches / warmth correlate to summer. Similarly, this is why I chose yellow as vesis colour theme due to its joyful and warm
connotations. I added an additional information section at the bottom of the print that showcases all of vesis effects, such as its use in
maintaining a healthy body. This is important as it compells audiences to buy vesi due to its potential effects on them. Beneath this section is
an Instagram icon with vesi's Instagram plug next to it. The reason I did this was because audiences will know where to find more information
about the product if necessary. The reason I chose instagram above all other social medias was because instagram is the most common used
app between the preffered target audiences ages as it has every feature majority of social medias priotise e.g., TikTok's short videos as 'reels.' I
finally then placed the bottle above all these images using the free lasso crop tool to crop out the bottle and drag it into the middle of the
print. The reason I chose this area is because it is where eyes are usually drawn as it’s the main bit, so the product is obviously going there.
