2. Process
• To make the flannel pattern
I used strips of colour using
the shape tool
• I then changed the opacity
to I could layer them in the
way I wanted.
• I put a stroke on the overall
design to highlight the item,
so it will stand out well on a
white webpage.
• My audience will be
attracted to this as it looks
modern but it is retro.
3. Process
• For this I just placed the
image of the skull over
the image of the tie dye
• I then started to cut out
the white parts (the
parts I wanted to look tie
dyed) using the polygon
lasso tool.
• I chose a minimal design
with good contrast to
attract my audience. I
think the overall design
looks modern and
youthful.
4. Reflection
• What elements of your experiments will you
include in your final product?
I want to use the tie dye as the background for
an image. I also want to include flannel and in
more styles and colours. I want to expand my
designs to include both elements and I want to
be more creative with my products to ensure my
audience likes them and is attracted to my
brand.
