2. Process
Some of the tools I used was the
quick selection tool, I went over the
sword fish and copied and pasted it
over the original, then I selected the
original image and selected a
Gaussian blur over it to make it seem
like the fish is higher quality and the
main focus of the magazine.
With the text above the fish I decided
to get ride if the I in fishing so it looks
like the tip of the sword fish is
creating the I its self.
I then added a drop shadow to the
masthead to make it look that more
professional.
3. Reflection
• What elements of your experiments will you include in
your final product?
• The element from my experiment that I will use in my
final product will most likely be the Gaussian blur that I
added to the background just because it adds that
special touch and it makes it seem like a magazine you
would find in the local shop.
• Another element from my experiment that id add
would probably be the masthead or the selling line or
banner.
