© Relay Graduate School of Education. All rights reserved. 5 Let You Know When You Input 100% Of Your Data Percentage of data collected shows here. As you input more data, this number increases. OH NO! NOT ALL THE DATA HAS BEEN INPUTTED!

© Relay Graduate School of Education. All rights reserved. 7 Get The Indicator Language Right If these indicators won’t make sense for your younger kids, adjust them Just type into the field to reword the indicators
© Relay Graduate School of Education. All rights reserved. 8 Denote When A Student Has Withdrawn Simply mark them as “NETR” (not enrolled this round) to indicate why the data is missing Don’t delete students from the Character Tracker, even if they leave your classroom

Before you actually input any information into the tracker let’s review a few guiding principles.

© Relay Graduate School of Education. All rights reserved. 26 If You Move Information From Another File… Let’s say you have your roster in another spreadsheet and you want to copy it into the tracker
© Relay Graduate School of Education. All rights reserved. 27 If You Copy and Paste, ALWAYS Paste “As Values” When pasting, right-click to select “Paste Special” and then select “Values”
© Relay Graduate School of Education. All rights reserved. 28 Seriously. ALWAYS Paste “As Values”!!! You could break your tracker if you don’t paste “as values”
© Relay Graduate School of Education. All rights reserved. 29 The Tracker Tabs Are Organized By Character Strength Choose the tab that matches the strength you will be measuring. If you’re measuring a different strength (not one of the Great Eight) then simply change the indicator wording on any one of the tabs.

© Relay Graduate School of Education. All rights reserved. 32 Save Often Saving is fun! On a separate note: It’s always a good idea to have a file backup service, in case your computer ever goes kaput

  • 5. © Relay Graduate School of Education. All rights reserved. 5 Let You Know When You Input 100% Of Your Data Percentage of data collected shows here. As you input more data, this number increases. OH NO! NOT ALL THE DATA HAS BEEN INPUTTED!

  • 24. Before you actually input any information into the tracker let’s review a few guiding principles.

  • 26. © Relay Graduate School of Education. All rights reserved. 26 If You Move Information From Another File… Let’s say you have your roster in another spreadsheet and you want to copy it into the tracker
  • 27. © Relay Graduate School of Education. All rights reserved. 27 If You Copy and Paste, ALWAYS Paste “As Values” When pasting, right-click to select “Paste Special” and then select “Values”

If you’re measuring a different strength (not one of the Great Eight) then simply change the indicator wording on any one of the tabs.
