1. Target Audience Profile
Our target audience is primarily female, aged between 15 and 25. She is very
academic, and her favourite subjects are psychology and media. She sees
herself havingacareer thatinvolvesworking withmanypeople, whilstusing her
initiative and creativity, such as working in marketing or becoming a
psychologist. She aims tohave ahigh disposable income, andwork in a jobshe
enjoys.
She is intelligent, thoughtfulandartistic, is not afraid to voice her opinion, and
is well-liked in every social situation. She’s always optimisticabout her future,
and although she’s very down-to-earth, she has a strong spiritual and religious
background. Because of her emotional intelligence, friends find her very
supportive and understanding, and are never afraid to go to her when in need
of advice.
Although enjoys having fun, shelikes tosurroundherself with people whokeep
her intellectually and mentally stimulated. Relationships are important to her,
especially when she can cuddle up with her significant other, watching a
psychological horror and working together to figure out who the antagonist
really is. Although currently cohabiting with her partner, she guarantees to
keep in touch with her family. In the future, she sees herself and her partner
settling down with a family of their own.
When not working or spending time with her significant other, she enjoys
blogging andkeeping up todatewith thelatest news stories. Tokeep her mind
alert, she enjoys playing thought-provoking games such as Sudoku and never
misses out on her daily crossword puzzle from the back of the newspaper. She
also enjoys reading, especially psychological horrors, such as American Psycho,
and Burnt Offerings. She enjoys shopping for vintage clothing, and one-off
pieces of clothing, reflecting her originality and uniqueness.
When picking a film to watch, she loves horrors, but hates blood and gore like
seen in slashers; she therefore prefers to watch psychological horrors. These
are her favourite horror movies because they intellectually stimulate her and
provide herwith atwistthatsheloves tosolve. GoneGirl, Prisoners, Se7en, The
Strangers and The Uninvited are amongst some of her favourite movies.
