These are our initial ideas for our trailer, poster and magazine for our horror film.

1. • Sub-genre – Psychological horror.
• Girl gets abused as a child (flashback in trailer to show this)
• Train station????
• Nightmares
• Stuck in lift
• Hears voices of her being called multiple words e.g. crazy
• She’ll be in the bath and it fills with blood
• Sees something in the mirror/goes crazy and smashes the mirror
• Mental hospital  boyfriend helps her but she attacks and kills boyfriend (Jamie)
• Visits boyfriend in the cemetery
• Kills herself at the end (hanging/overdose) – sting
• Trailer continuously fades to black with straps coming up.

2. Initial Ideas - Magazine
• Horror magazine with the main character screaming.
• General movie magazine with her standing in a graveyard.
• Boyfriend standing behind her in ‘ghost’ form.
• Her standing in front of a brick wall crying.
• ‘Directors Cut’ being the magazine name.
• Medium close up of the antagonist.
• Feature article photographs of other characters from films.
• ‘Free Gift’ related to the movie.

3. Initial Ideas - Poster
• Tagline at the top of the poster to follow conventions.
• Main image being a close up of her crying taking up the whole frame.
• Silhouette of body against a door.
• Image of the main character with words written all around her describing the voices in her head.
• Her standing screaming - in colour - with people around her in black screaming at her.
• Her face being broken and smashed, e.g. with cracks down it.
