How old are you? This helps find an age rang for the
audience and to help gain knowledge
on whataudience we are addressing
What is your gender? This helps with target audience, so I
know who might be buying the
magazine/
Where are you from? This helps learn wherein the world it
is popular which helps determine
whereit would be mostpopular and
would get the most sales.
In which was do you listen to music ? This tells us how they listen to music
so we can relate this to content such
as talking aboutnew cd releases or
whereto download music if that’s
popular .
When did you start buying/listing to

This gives us an idea on are youngest
audience and when people firstget
involved.
What bands do you listen to ? This helps with content and whatare
audience are looking for, giving an
idea on what the bestarticle would
be to include ( will put this into a
graph to get an overall idea)
How did you find the bands you
listen to ?
This is good to know in which media
are viewers are finding things so we
can use this for marketing and where
we could find other places to do
research
Have you ever been to a gig ? if so

This gives us about area of audience ,
who the interested and how involved
they are
Do you have any posters? This gives us an idea on whatits good
to include , if posters area wasteof
pages or a big reason for the
purchaseof the magazine
Who is your favouriteband or artist This is key for content as it helps with
what’s popular and whatwill get the
most people to look at it
What do you look for in a magazine Going pastcontent this helps with
what the people wantand in ways
we can give them what they’re
looking for so we can providefor
what they want.
What images do you expect ? This is key for getting the readers
interest , we need to find whatthey
look for and whatdraws them to the
magazines, the colours the style ,
who what and whereall things that
they observewhen looking at a
magazine
Why do you buy a magazine? The reason for buying is so important
because if the reason for buying isn’t
delivered then we will not be getting
the audience what they want.
How often do you buy magazines ? This tells us when to printthe copy’s
so that we don’tmake to much and
wastemoney, wewant all the
audience the be happy on the
releases and how often.
What is your favouritegenre of music
?
They may enjoy the genre of the
magazine but it might not be there
favouriteknowing that people who
justenjoy the genre helps with who
will buy the magazine
Have you boughtkerrang? How many
times ?
This goes back to other research ,
having done secondary research this
is a magazine similar to the intended
audience knowing how many people
buy and like the magazine benefit
and helps with previous research
done.
For this I am going to use survey monkey, I picked to do this so that it gets a
wider range of people than justpeople in my community , I will then
evaluate the information in databases and tables so that I can properly
understand the data I have collected. The questionnaire is not only to get
information on the content but the look and layout.

Those are the intended questions however using survey monkey it is
multiple choice quiz so some may not get the intended or questions may
need to be changed. A Screen shotof the final questionnaire will indicate
any changes. The websitewouldn’t let me do over 10 questions so because
of this I selected 10.
I removed questions about the kerrang magazine, and others like what’s
your favouriteband as it is similar to whatbands do you listen to, and so
on. Because of time we won’t be able to wait to get lots of results so we
will take the first10 and the analysed outcome.
Predicted results
Fromsecondary research I can determine there will be an averageage
range and even a moredominate gender participant, the places which the
people are fromwill most likely be from the places the bands included are
fromor wherethere biggestfan bases at. The way of listing to music is
probably developed less people probably buy CD’s and more download or
streammusic.
For the results the quiz analyses the results, which shows tables for each.
All of the questions results will be included with a highlight on some of the
more important questions for audience research, like gender, age and so
on.
The results- the website analyses the results for you and shows you in
charts, one for each question.

Do you have any posters? 10.Who is your favourite/ band artist? 11.What do you look for in a magazine? 12.What images do you expect? 13.Why do you buy magazines? 14.How often do you buy magazines? 15. What is your favouritegenre of music? 16.Have you ever boughtkerrang? How many times Questions Reason How old are you? This helps find an age rang for the audience and to help gain knowledge on whataudience we are addressing What is your gender? This helps with target audience, so I know who might be buying the magazine/ Where are you from? This helps learn wherein the world it is popular which helps determine whereit would be mostpopular and would get the most sales.
  • 2. In which was do you listen to music ? This tells us how they listen to music so we can relate this to content such as talking aboutnew cd releases or whereto download music if that’s popular . When did you start buying/listing to music ? This gives us an idea on are youngest audience and when people firstget involved. What bands do you listen to ? This helps with content and whatare audience are looking for, giving an idea on what the bestarticle would be to include ( will put this into a graph to get an overall idea) How did you find the bands you listen to ? This is good to know in which media are viewers are finding things so we can use this for marketing and where we could find other places to do research Have you ever been to a gig ? if so who ? This gives us about area of audience , who the interested and how involved they are Do you have any posters? This gives us an idea on whatits good to include , if posters area wasteof pages or a big reason for the purchaseof the magazine Who is your favouriteband or artist This is key for content as it helps with what’s popular and whatwill get the most people to look at it What do you look for in a magazine Going pastcontent this helps with what the people wantand in ways we can give them what they’re looking for so we can providefor what they want. What images do you expect ? This is key for getting the readers interest , we need to find whatthey look for and whatdraws them to the magazines, the colours the style , who what and whereall things that they observewhen looking at a magazine
  • 3. Why do you buy a magazine? The reason for buying is so important because if the reason for buying isn’t delivered then we will not be getting the audience what they want. How often do you buy magazines ? This tells us when to printthe copy’s so that we don’tmake to much and wastemoney, wewant all the audience the be happy on the releases and how often. What is your favouritegenre of music ? They may enjoy the genre of the magazine but it might not be there favouriteknowing that people who justenjoy the genre helps with who will buy the magazine Have you boughtkerrang? How many times ? This goes back to other research , having done secondary research this is a magazine similar to the intended audience knowing how many people buy and like the magazine benefit and helps with previous research done. For this I am going to use survey monkey, I picked to do this so that it gets a wider range of people than justpeople in my community , I will then evaluate the information in databases and tables so that I can properly understand the data I have collected. The questionnaire is not only to get information on the content but the look and layout. I am using https://www.surveymonkey.com/create/?sm=lFJ8teBB_2FL1oCuCY3OnWG Bz5MX8b_2FqM3_2F3IvuK_2FThhI_3D Those are the intended questions however using survey monkey it is multiple choice quiz so some may not get the intended or questions may need to be changed. A Screen shotof the final questionnaire will indicate any changes. The websitewouldn’t let me do over 10 questions so because of this I selected 10.
  • 4. I removed questions about the kerrang magazine, and others like what’s your favouriteband as it is similar to whatbands do you listen to, and so on. Because of time we won’t be able to wait to get lots of results so we will take the first10 and the analysed outcome. Predicted results Fromsecondary research I can determine there will be an averageage range and even a moredominate gender participant, the places which the people are fromwill most likely be from the places the bands included are fromor wherethere biggestfan bases at. The way of listing to music is probably developed less people probably buy CD’s and more download or streammusic. For the results the quiz analyses the results, which shows tables for each. All of the questions results will be included with a highlight on some of the more important questions for audience research, like gender, age and so on. The results- the website analyses the results for you and shows you in charts, one for each question.
