2. Existing Product
This product is similar to mine because it is a simple maze. I am going to make my maze
simple so it is easier for younger people to play. Also this maze has two entrances and so
will mine. The last exit will have a boss outside of it.

This image is similar to mine because the mouse has to get to the cheese. In
mine I have a character that has to get to the boss and they he will be able to
fight the boss. Also on the way to the boss there will be chests that the
character will be able to collect.

People would want to play this because it has a design that will interest
people to play. This also has a spooky theme to it and I am going to make
mine have a similar sort of theme. Also this maze has an image inside of it
and I could add an image inside mine to give it a better look.

• What common features do the researched products
have?
– All the products that I have researched have a maze and
they all have the same concept of the game. Also all the
products that I have used have an objective to complete.
• What aspects of the research will you include within
your on work?
- Some of the aspects that I will include in my product is
that I will have the houses but change them to chests
and then you can collect loot from them. Also I will
have a big objective to complete such as a big boss at
the end and have to work to get all the best loot.

6-12 • I want it to appeal to this age range because
I'm going to make my game simple and I
don’t want older people to not have fun
because it is too basic.

Male and Female • I want my product to appeal to as many
people as possible. Even though my product
wont have bright colours I still want females
to enjoy it.

Belonger • I want to interact with as many people as
possible that play my game. Also it would be
good if families played the game together to
help the younger audience.
Social Status
A, B, C1, C2 • They all get some sort of income and my
game wont be expensive so they can easily
afford it.
