3. Research
• The strengths of my research were getting a clear understanding of what I
needed to include in my podcast. I also got to understand the structure of
a podcast in order to aid my decision of what I was going to say and when I
was going to say it. My research helped me get a clear understanding of
how a podcast was meant to sound and it also lead on to give me a topic
to talk about which was gaming.
• I don’t think there were many weaknesses but one of them may have
been that I didn’t take my time to research fully and I rushed to decide
what I wanted to do so that I could keep up to the deadline.

4. Planning
• For my planning I looked at a youtuber and commentator called Thooorin
who does podcasts on CSGO. I found his podcasts entertaining and
educational and that’s what I wanted to achieve with mine. The planning
was useful as it let me organize how I wanted everything to be when
recording.
• However, the weakness of my planning was that I did it all quickly instead
of going through it properly and making sure it was all done to a good
standard. I could have spent more time planning to improve my overall
product.

5. Time Management
• I think my overall time management was good as I handed almost
everything in on time, I did complete my project on time but if I had more
time I would have done things differently to make my product more
appealing.
• If I had more time I would have probably put a lot more effort into the
researching and the planning for my podcast, which overall would have
made my podcast sound a lot better.
• I would have also spent a lot more time editing my recording to make it
the best it could be.

6. Technical Qualities
• My work is similar to Thooorin’s podcasts as it talks about a
certain topic and we both talk about a game called counter
strike global offensive which is a fps multiplayer game.
However, the topic I was talking about is different to the ones
he usually talks about. Mine was pre game start-up while
Thooorin talks about the mid to late game clutch.

7. Aural Qualities
My work sounds good to me even though I don’t like the sound of my own
voice. I spoke confidently because I know a lot about the game I was talking
about. This made it easy for me to talk about my topic of interest.
I think my podcast was creative because of the use of music in the
background and the soundtrack at the beginning.
I like the music in my product and the structure of it combined is actually
really good.
I think I would make it longer by adding another section on to my script.

8. Audience Appeal
I appealed to my target audience by talking about a very popular game in the
gaming community called counter strike. This game has millions of players and
thousands of new players that are willing to become better at the game just
like the pros wanted when they started out.
My podcast will help inform/teach the new players and even advanced players
how to play aggressive on T side and how to succeed.
The whole podcast will appeal to my target audience as everyone can learn
more about the game by listening to someone with over 2000 hours
experience on the game.
Also the music in the background fits in perfectly with the audio, which gives
an overall, nicer sound.
