1. Short Film Story Development
Title
Genre Horror
What 3 visual conventions of yourgenre will you include?
1. Close Ups
2. Extreme Close Ups
3. Dark colours
What will you introduce early in the film to make the audience like/care about your
character?
I’m going to make my stalker look like a nice caring person by showing him help people out
so that they appreciate the stalker and understand him and connect with him on a personal
level. As the filmgoes on I’m going to destroy that bond the audience has with the stalker.
What is the ending to your film?
The filmends with my character walking into his garden to search for what made the noise
that he heard, he ends up getting knocked out by his stalker.
This is because the stalker made a noise by accident and made the person curios as to what
the noise was.
Why is that your ending? What reaction are you hoping to elicit in the audience?
This is my ending because I want the audience to be questioning what just happened.
What are the stakes for your character? What will happen if they don’t get what they
want?
Nothing will happen if they don’t get what they want, because its literally impossible for
them to not get it. If however, he didn’t get what he wanted I think he would probably go
insane.
