3. Research
• The research helped my product because I was able to have a good listen
to other podcasts that were similar to mine and what I wanted mine to
sound like. This enabled me to work more efficiently and take inspirations
and ideas from other podcasts.
• My research also helped me with my podcast by taking ideas of certain
topics on what I wanted my podcast to focus on, one of the most common
topics I found interesting were conspiracy theories, these podcasts in a
way persuaded me to do a podcast on the mystery of Elisa Lam which is a
unsolved case.
• The things that my research did not help me with was how similar all the
podcasts sounded, all of the examples that I had researched all sounded
the same because what they were mainly doing was just talking into a
microphone with their group, this is an audio podcast and not a video
podcast so I couldn’t take ideas from the visuals that they had, only a few
ideas can come from audio.
4. Planning
• The planning helped me create my product because I was able to plan
every step I was going to take whilst I was creating my project, this helped
me not to waste time and think what I need to do next after I finished
each step. It did take me some time to get it the way I wanted it to be
including experiencing some complications such as losing my near
finalised podcast and needing to do it all again that caused me to take so
long I am still proud of the podcast and this is due to most of the planning.
• The weaknesses of my planning was I think it spent too much time on it
and didn’t perform as well as I should have, I should have stuck to the time
limit and got it done on the right time and then moved onto the next slide
piece of work and done the same.
5. Time Management
• My time management has improved but still has not been as efficient and
reliable as I wanted it to be. I still need to work on hitting deadlines on
time with all units and not spend so much time on one thing rather than
focus on getting everything else complete so I am not left behind on more
work.
• I can improve my time management by speeding up with my work and
avoid any possible distractions that can disrupt the quality of my work.
6. Technical Qualities
• My podcast sounds similar to this existing podcast because I have used a
similar to what is used in this podcast by a group called XO who are
exploring and discussing conspiracy theories. My podcast does sound
different to the XO podcast though because mine is only following one
specific case whereas there is a lot more detail, discussion and
conversation happening in the XO podcast.

7. Aural Qualities
• I think that my podcast that I did with my classmates does sound
good, it is professional, nicely done, not over the top in comedic
jokes, it is a formal / relaxed podcast, I do think that my podcast
was creative because as a group of 3 we were exploring and
discussing all the possible conspiracy theories that could have led
Elisa Lam to her death. The main aspect of the podcast that I
enjoyed was how intense it feels when imagining how the woman
felt during this and how it could have possibly happened, I also like
that it is a disturbing yet interesting topic to talk about and to get
our own views and opinions across on what each of us think what
happened to her. The things I would improve in my podcast are
speaking more punctually, I did have a few moments when I
struggled following my script so I think it is good to rehearse what
you are going to talk about before you start recording.
8. Audience Appeal
• I have appealed to my target audience by
discussing a mystery that might not be suitable
for younger people, this podcast is for a more
mature age group so I made sure that it was a
distressing case that younger people might find
frightening and disturbing. The content we
included was quite graphic and explicit going into
detail on how the woman passed and where her
corpse was found. This gets my point across that
it is for a more mature audience because I don’t
think that younger people would find this nice to
listen to.
10. Feedback 1
• What did you like about the product?
– I liked that you used scary music in the
background
• What improvements could have been made to
the product?
– You could have used another scary soundtrack
other than the same one each time.
11. Feedback 2
• What did you like about the product?
– This was good because of the factual information that
was given describing how she died.
• What improvements could have been made to
the product?
• You could include more detail on who found her
and were there any witnesses? More facts in
general.
12. Feedback 3
• What did you like about the product?
– I enjoyed listening because I thought it was scary and
serious because of the facts but also a little bit funny
because of some jokes
• What improvements could have been made to the
product?
• I think you could avoid using jokes because people
might get the wrong idea about them and possible find
them offensive. You could have also been more
confident the way you are speaking.
13. Peer Feedback Summary
• What do you agree with from your peer
feedback?
• I agree that I need to use less jokes in my future
projects in case they come across offensive.
• Use more factual information in future projects.
• What do you disagree with from your peer
feedback?
– I disagree with using more sound effects because I feel
that if I use too much it will just be jumbled.
14. Peer Feedback Summary
• I would like to change the way I am speaking
through the recorder, I sound like I don’t really
know what I am doing so I feel like to make
this better I need to practise reading out my
script.
