This proposal outlines a concept for an endless runner mobile game aimed at male audiences ages 16-18. Key elements proposed include 3 playable characters, a vibrant background with colors like red, yellow and blue, sound effects and background music. Before developing the game, the proposal suggests researching popular endless runner games like Jetpack Joyride and Subway Surfers to determine what elements to include. The proposal also emphasizes skills learned around exporting graphics at the right resolution and drawing straight lines that would be useful for elements like roads and tracks in the game. Evaluation plans include assessing time management, technical quality, and comparing the game to existing products to identify strengths and areas for improvement.

Working Title:
No limit
What is it called? This can change if you think of something better later
Audience:
My audience is more male than female and is ages from 16-18 audience. This is because
I feel that most endless runner audiences are having more males. This does not mean
that people of the opposite sex cant play this game. To appeal to my male audience I will
include possibly monsters or something along that line. This will appeal to my male
audience as stereotypically they like more scary things. To appeal to my 16-18 I will
make the game fun to play and will ultimately fill in some time for them. The social status
for my game will be middle class. To appeal to this audience I will make this game free.
This is because I feel that then it appeals to both middle and lower class. The
psychographic for my game is going to be an achiever; this is because they will want to
get as far as possible without dying. To appeal to my whole audience I will make an
endless runner game where which the aim will be to avoid the obstacles as well as
monster and get as far you can. I will also include some sound effects and possibly a
backing track. This will appeal to my audience, as this will make the game more fun.
Rationale (approx. 100 words)
One skill that I have learnt is that you have to have an export it in the correct resolution otherwise
you end up with a blurry game. This will be corrected when I make my game so that it looks clearer
and ultimately more professional. Another skill I have learnt is how to draw straight line quickly and
easily. Holding shift on your previous point does this and clicking on where you want the line to
end. This will be implemented within my game if I want to include a straight line; this is most likely,
as I will have to create a character as well as the background. This will be useful especially for my
game as I plan to include roads or tracks this would be an important skill to use because these
objects are usually straight.
Project Concept (approx. 200 words)
The concept I have for my game is to create an endless runner game. This game will be similar to
existing games such as subway surfers, crossy road and temple run. For my game I will include
possibly 3 characters these will be what ever you want to choose. I will also create a background,
which will include bright vibrant colours. These would be colours like yellow, blue and red. These
colours will be used to appeal to the audience; this will be done because they will instantly draw
their attention to their game. Also for my game I will create a fun and enjoyable game. To achieve
this I will include some sound effects these will be similar to existing games. I may also decide to
include some backing music. Firstly before I create my game I will have to conduct some research.
To do this I will analyse roughly 3 or 4 similar games. These would be games such as jetpack
joyride and Mario. I will also have to look at what I want to include within my game, these would be
things such as the colours, characters and the background. This will help me create my game, as
this should allow me to create it quicker. This will help me because I will already know what I am
including and what colours. This would be a lot more inconvenient if I did not do any research
because I would have to think about it there and then.
Evaluation (approx. 50 words)
To evaluate my work I will look at several different factors of my work. One thing I will evaluate
upon will be the time management. This will allow me to think about what I need to do in the future
to make my work better. I will also look at the technical qualities as well as comparing it to exist ing
products. This will allow me to look at what I have done well and not so well. This will also allow
me to see if I have applied to the conventions of this topic. This process will make my work better.
This is because I will know what I need to do in order to improve. I will also get to see what I have
done differently to existing products.
