The big lez game
Audience:
My audience will be aged upwards of 16 and will mostly be male although anyone who chooses to
find it entertaining can. My game will be aimed at anyone who can afford to watch youtube at
home and watch the show so basically anyone who has a modern smartphone. The big lez show
and my game will appeal to people who like over the top comical violence and over the top vulgar
language and somewhat offensive and obscure jokes. My project will appeal to this age because
you have to be a little mature and have a bit of common knowledge to understand and find it funny.
It appeals to mainly males because the big lez show relates to mostly men or anyone who can
relate to the dark humour and find it entertaining.
Rationale (approx. 100 words)
I believe my video game for irn bru was the most enjoyable and most believable piece of work ive
created so I feel reletivly confident for making the game based on the big lez show. I think I could
make a really believable setting of the show adapted into the 8 bit workspace. I have acquired
more than enough skills to pull this off it just will take time and effort to produce.
Project Concept (approx. 200 words)
My project concept is to make an adventure game with choices like the elder scrolls franchise.
Although this will be an animation it would look and feel more realistic having a choice option that I
can create which will make it seem a more immersive experience. I think I’ll have the game load
into a later save because I want to try and show a meaningful part of the game and a skilled player
playing the game. The game could be set anywhere but my main choices are a fantasy world like
the elder scrolls, or a space themed one but I think this may be more difficult creating and also one
just with a mix of environments and an amalgamation of all of my ideas. I’d say my most
successful type of game to make is a fighting game as I think the space game and my irn bru
game are my best work in the game animation projects. Im good at creating my characters and
sticking to a style throughout the whole animation. I believe character creation and or the sprite
creation is one of the most important things to consider when designing the game.
Evaluation (approx. 50 words)
To evaluate my work I will thoroughly critique it and go through the decisions I made when coming
up with ideas. I will compare my research, initial plans and experiments with my final production to
see what i adapted and changed . These could be changes that gave me an advantage or some
could of given me disadvantages and I'll evaluate that. These skills are quite unique, not many
people can animate to his extent so I could use this skill in my carrier as an amateur animator and
make what people want.
