1. What have you learnt about
technologies from the process of
construction this product?
2. When embarking on our coursework, we set about creating our
WIX pages so that we could display our work in a simple but
creative way. I have never used WIX before so it was a challenge
at first, but after a few tips from the teachers, we knew how to
do the basic things to start creating our pages.
I discovered how to embed a website into a website, how to add
videos and apply buttons to the pages. Without discovering how
to do these things on WIX, I would have been able to make my
pages easy to navigate or have different types of media on them
to show my understanding of what I carried out for my
coursework.

4. When constructing my media product, I learnt how to use
PhotoShop CS6. PhotoShop was new to me, so I learn how to do
a lot of things to make the media product I was creating look
realistic and professional. For example I learnt how to use the
magic wand/ quick selection tool and the background eraser to
efficiently remove unwanted aspects of my photos.
I also learnt how to layer different layers on top of each other to
create one layer. As well as learning how to do these things on
PhotoShop, my magazine would not be a magazine if it did not
include text; so I learnt how to align text with images and to
change the effects and spacing between letters to create the
perfect text for my magazine.

6. I also developed my knowledge of the Nikon D3200. I learnt how
to change the Aperture, ISO, Shutter Speed to be able to create
different effects on a photo. I also learnt how to use different
technologies in the studio to be able to create the final perfect
photo.
