Micromeritics - Fundamental and Derived Properties of Powders
question six
1. What have you learnt about
technologies from the processing
of constructing this product?
2. In terms of editing software programs, I have been able to develop my
skills on picture editing program ‘Macromedia Fireworks’ and video
editing program ‘Sony Vegas Pro’. When constructing my final
product, I was able to gain new skills in Fireworks as I got more
confident with my genre and the program itself. I used Sony Vegas
when creating the video for my photo shoot, and was able to really
explore the editing software, which is something I previously
wouldn’t have done. I also used websites such as ‘dafont.com’ and
‘dolliecrave.com’ to obtain fonts and graphics that suited my
genre, which enhanced my final product greatly.
3. Weebly is a clear example of a technology that I
had to adapt to. I previously had no
experience whatsoever with this website, and
in the past have only dealt with websites
similar. Throughout my coursework journey, I
have had to learn different commands within
this website, that I will in the future be able to
incorporate in similar ‘blog style’ website
designs that I could potentially make. The
organisation levels of Weebly have therefore
helped me to categorise each section of my
coursework, and keep it neat.
4. I also had to use social networking technologies
such as ‘Twitter’, ‘Facebook’ and ‘Whatsapp’
on my phone. I used these heavily on my
research and planning section of my
coursework. These have further helped
develop my understanding in not only my
target audience, but how helpful social
networking can be to gain the public’s opinion
on your product.
