The student struggled with using Photoshop and InDesign in their media texts, having issues with images and text disappearing when placed too close together in InDesign. Through working on the preliminary task, they learned to use layers more efficiently in InDesign. They are most proud of their contents page created in InDesign, which they based on a template from Vibe magazine, though acknowledge their lack of experience means it may not look as professional. To present evidence and research, they used SlideShare and Prezi to post PowerPoint presentations and embed them on their blog to make the content more accessible and attractive to read.

2.  My main technical difficulty when
constructing my media texts was the use of
Photoshop to manipulate my images, and
InDesign when I trying to layout my work.
InDesign was particularly hard because I
often encountered that images or texts would
disappear when thing where too close
together, in the long run I learnt how to use
layers efficiently, which definitely helped me
to put my media texts together. I struggled
with this in the preliminary task which lead
me to completely not use the program. I
definitely learnt to be persistent as a lot of
time was used trying to learn the program.

3.  The work I am most
proud of is my contents
page, this was mainly
done on InDesign and I
used a number of
techniques to achieve
my final product. As a
template I used Vibe
magazines contents.
However I understand
that it wouldn’t look as
professional as I am not
as experienced.

4.  To present my evidence and research I
used 2 software’s which I then posted
onto my blog, these included slideshare
and prezi. These are two software’s that
allowed me to post my PowerPoint
presentations onto them which made it
more accessible and more attractive to
read on my blog once embedded.
