Configuration of CB Ce cc Poster
1. Configurations of Transistor (CB,CC,CE)
3 Possible Configuration
Common-Base Configuration (CB)
input = VEB & IE
output = VCB &IC
Common-Emitter Configuration (CE):
input = VBE & IB
output= VCE & IC
Common-Collector Configuration (CC)
input = VBC & IB
output=VEC & IE
CB Configuration
As current is sunk from the emitter
this provides potential difference so
causing the transistor to conduct.. The
current conducted via the collector is
proportional to the voltage across the
base-emitter junction, accounting for
the bias, as with other configurations.
Therefore, if no current is sunk at the
emitter the transistor does not
conduct.
CE Configuration0
In this circuit the base terminal of the transistor
serves as the input, the collector is the output,
and the emitter is common to both (for
example, it may be tied to ground reference or
a power supply rail), hence its name. The
analogous field-effect transistor circuit is
the common source amplifier, and the
analogous tube circuit is the common
cathode amplifier.
CC Configuration
In this circuit the base terminal of the
transistor serves as the input, the emitter is
the output, and the collector is common to
both (for example, it may be tied to ground
reference or a power supply rail, hence its
name. The analogous field-effect transistor
circuit is the common drain amplifier.
