Working Title: Film review podcast
What is it called? This can change if you think of something better later
Product’s Purpose: The products purpose is to entertain the audience and educate them
about the film/films that I am reviewing and my thoughts and feelings about the particular
film. I will achieve this by including interesting new films so that people are intrigued to see
my opinion of them.
What is the product’s purpose (entertain/educate etc.) and how will you achieve this?
Genre: The product is a podcast that will be following the genre of film.
What sort of product is it
Content: My product is about a podcast that includes reviews about new films that have
just recently come out. The product would include sound effects and a slight bit of
background music in places, it would also include specific films that I would particularly
pick out. The podcast would also include only one speaker, that being me. The podcast
itself, does not have a story included within it but I will be narrated the films as if there is a
story present.
What is your product about? Discuss what you would put in it (be specific). Does it have a story? If

Audience: My audience would be anyone between 15 onwards as the films I will be
reviewing may be a bit old for the younger audience. Also the language I will be using
maybe a bit complex for the younger audiences. I would also say my audience would be
any gender as the films I will be reviewing won’t be more gender dominant than the other.
The social status of my audience is any status, as I won’t be attending to offend any status
out there. I think that all social status will enjoy what I am showing. The psychographic of
my audience I believe would be aimed for balanced. As that one suites my product the best
in my opinion. My project will appeal to this type of people as all the things I have
mentioned will definitely appeal to my audience.

Why would your project appeal to this person?
Legal & Ethical Considerations: I will not be including any offensive material in my podcast,
I will also not be swearing or saying any things that will make myself come off as offensive.
As I have mentioned earlier on I will be restricting younger people from using/accessing it
as I the films I will be featuring maybe inappropriate for the younger audience to listen too.
It will not be offending any social/ethic groups/religions as I wouldn’t want to restrict any
audiences members from listening to my podcast Also I will not include any offensive
material/jokesabout any of these as it will limit my audience to who can listen to my
podcast. I can not promise though that the content in the films that I am reviewing will not
include any offensive material or information that may offend any of these groups, as that
is not in my control. I will make sure I do not offend anyone by not including any
appropriate language or information. I will also not swear through my podcast, or
blaspheme through my podcast as it might offend some religious views. I will also make
sure I don’t offend anyone by only including movies that appeal to everyone. I will be using
character’s names and logos, as I will need to say their names for the review to make any
sense. Although I may use the actors name to represent a character. I will obviously be
including the title of the film included and the title of other films prior to that. My product
won’t be substantially different from other podcast out there, as there are a lot of similar
products out there that are practically the same. Although the things I include will be
obviously different to that of the others, as I will have music and sound effects in different
places of the podcast than other podcasts out there. I won’t get sued for copyright

infringement because all the things I mentioned aren’t similar to that of the other things that
are available.
