Music album and poster

Product’s Purpose:
The purpose of this product is to provide my audience with a music album which they will enjoy.
The purpose is also to act as a form of escapism for the audience as well as entertaining people.
What is the product’s purpose (entertain/educate etc.) and how will you achieve this?

What sort of product is it
Content
In my album cover I am going to include a large bright colourful image. This is because a few
people suggested it when doing the surveys. The image is going to be a cartoon, this is because
most of the rap album covers I have looked at contain a cartoon image on them therefore I am
trying to aspire towards them. I will also include a title which will stick out on the primary colour of
the album. The title will be bold so that it sticks out from a distance. Also on my album cover I am
going to include a parental sticker in the bottom left, this is because most rap albums contain
swearing or bad language.
What is your product about? Discuss what you would put in it (be specific). Does it have a story? If

Audience:
My audience is 15-22 year olds this is because most rap albums contain bad language. The
gender is mainly towards men as you see many male rappers and hardly any females. The social
status isn’t very important to my product as I think that anyone can listen to my product. The
psychographic for my product would have to be enductor, this is as my audience may look up to
my album.
Who is your audience? Be very detailed; age, gender, social status, psychographic etc
Why would your project appeal to this person?
Legal & Ethical Considerations:
In my product I may include offensive material as most rap albums contain swearing. I will restrict
younger people from listening to my product, this is as most rap albums contain bad language. My
album will not offend any groups in society, I will make sure of this by checking it frequently as well
as getting peers to check it. In my album cover I am not going to include any existing character
and names however I will use the already mad parental sticker. My product is different from other
albums as I will use different colour schemes as well as different fonts.
