Working Title: LETS PLAY
What is it called? This can change if you think of something better later
Product’s Purpose: The purpose of my product is to entertain and educate the people who
read/listen/view. As the content I will be including will be of upcoming games and facts
about games so the people who reads and views and listens to my content will be getting
educated n what my opinions and other peoples are on certain games. Hopefully having a
laugh on the way. I will achieve this by making sure the content in my magazine and my
other products, is of great standard, as I’m wanting to educate and not tell them something
they already know about. I will also achieve this by using my audience’sfeedback that I
have already gathered. I know what they like and what they have told me they like, so if I
listen to their feedback and forward it to my products I think I can achieve this. It also gives
you as the audience a sense of self-esteem and confidence reading this magazine. Also it
gives you a purpose of self- actualization.
What is the product’s purpose (entertain/educate etc.) and how will you achieve this?
Genre: This product is a mix of three projects: a magazine, an audio interview and a
website that I have prepared to put my stuff on. This is all based on the game genre theme
and they should all follow off each other.
What sort of product is it
Content- My product is about a game magazine, a game website that tells you about
upcoming games and will feature my magazine reviewsup there, an audio interview, where
I will be interviewing somebody asking them of what they think about certain games and
other stuff like that. For my magazine I will be putting in games of specific genres that my
audience has informed me they would like. I will also be putting in facts and information
about upcoming games, as I feel as though one game review will be enough for the
magazine. As I don’t want to overload with my audience with too much content and writing.
With the website that I am creating I will be adding the completed magazine, like an online
version of itself, as I think it’s important, if people don’t like reading from a physical copy.
The website will also include the little reviews of games and will include games that are
nearby coming out in the future and games that are rated highly that particular month. The
website will also contain a home page with my logo present and all my specific custom
design to it. The logo that I just mentioned will feature on all of my projects, as I want to
show that my product is professional and authentic. The logo will also keep up the theme of
gaming, as it will feature some kind of gaming aspect within it, weather that be the name or
the imagery presented on it. For example one of my practice ideas was that the logo had a
gaming controller on it, to symbolize this. The audio interview will include a person that I
am going to interview and myself asking that person particular questions about games. The
person will be of random choice and I try finding someone who is none biased to games
and myself. I will also be including someone who is a big fan of games, so they have more
to talk about when they answer the particular questions I ask them.

Research & Planning – I will be using my using the majority of my research and planning as
I feel as though the things I will probably do in my final product will be similar to what is
presented In my planning and in my research. Especially my planning as I tried to craft a
plan of what I was expected certain things to be like. Another certain element I will be
taking with me for my final idea is the existing planning ideas that

Audience: My product will be aimed towardsteenagers to young adults between the ages of
15 and 35. My audience will also consist of predominantly malesbut could interest the
female audience aswell. Due to the content of the magazine, I believe that a suitable price
for a magazine such as this would be ÂŁ7.99, this is similar to most gaming magazineson
the market, therefore it would have a slight social bias towards higher and middle class
people.
