Currently Working with Taj hotels Resorts and Palaces as “ASSISTANT MANAGER
HOUSEKEEPING
• Prompt action on guest request, attain guest satisfaction through product and
service and achieve problem resolution on guest complaints.
• Conducting daily briefings and auditing floor housekeepers for room checks.
• Coordination and liaison with other departments and various contractual agencies.
• Responsible for planning and scheduling the leaves for staff members.
• A pre- opening team member, assisted in setting up of Housekeeping department,
Linen and Uniform room, training of staff.
• Executed the project of Rooms, Suites & Public Area (Snagging and taking over
from Projects), and layout of all areas as per designs.
• Employing Cost Cutting techniques wherever possible/ applicable through
continuous surveillance in the areas.
• Vendor management – Identifying and organizing purchase need for the
department, coordinating with purchase, sampling of products from different
vendors, visit different markets for product sampling, comparative on quotation of
approved products from various vendors and procuring accordingly.

Was Selected as a “Hotel operation Management Trainee” (Housekeeping) by Taj Hotels
and was posted to VIVANTA by Taj Dwarka for One Year Training Phase and Duties
Included:
• Executing policies & procedures in the operating systems to achieve greater
customer delight
• Ensuring high quality services to achieve customer delight by extensive interaction
with guest and quick resolution of problems. Coordinating with in-house and
potential guests to understand their requirements and customize the product and
services accordingly.
• Identifying training needs for team members across levels through mapping of skills
required for different roles and analysis of the existing level of competencies.
• Responsible for the timely reviews and appraisal of the team members and
responsible for the welfare of team.
• Supervision of Rooms, Public Areas & Minibar Operations.
• Updating of Lost & Found items to Guest Profile.
• Training & Motivating team members.
• Overlooking super cleaning & Periodic cleaning schedules of the rooms.
• Maintaining inter departmental relationships.
• Staff & Executives allocation and roster.
Successfully completed industrial training for 17 weeks at “Shangri-La’s Eros Hotel, New
Delhi. (Dec-2012 to April-2013)

with all the department procedures.
