• Biodegradable waste: Food and kitchen waste, green waste (vegetables, flowers, leaves fruits)

5. Waste management processes adopted by
NDMC
• Street sweeping on a daily basis in the morning and in the evening over
the 150 km road length.
• Night sweeping of markets and religious places during festivals.
• Primary collection by 400 Nos. of Auto Tippers.
• Door to door collection of waste from Civil lines, Keshavpuram and Rohini
by Delhi MSW Solutions Ltd which collects around 2000 TPD waste which
are transported to Nareal-Bawana SLF Engineered Landfill site which is
treated (Less than 25% of the total waste is rejected).
• Collection and transportation of MSW from Karol Bagh, SP Zone, by
private concessionaries namely AG Enviro Projects Ltd. and Metro Waste
Handling Cell Pvt. Ltd. which collects around 2000 TPD waste which are
transported to SLF Bhalaswa.
