2. Experiment 1: Flower Boy
For this experiment I tried to recreate the album cover for
Tyler the creators 'Flower boy' album. I chose to do this
because I like the gradient in the sky so I wanted to practice
how to do that. Part of my game will be set in a forest so
making the sunflowers was good practice for that. I wish I
was able to make the car look more like a car instead of just
a blue dot. I didn’t use a tutorial for this I just played around
with photoshop till I got the look I was going for and used a
picture of the real album cover as a reference.

3. Experiment 2: night sky
These are the kind of colours I
want the sky to look in the game to
make it look magical like its set in
another world, in the real thing I
would try and make the sky a bit
darker and bluer. I like the gradient
effect and the trees came out ok. I
think I could improve the stars so
they look like they shine more and
maybe put less in because it looks
quite crowded.

4. Experiment 3: Harry Styles
I wanted to practice
different ways I could
design the characters for
the game. This character
started out as an explorer
but then I thought it
looked like Harry Styles, so
I changed it to be dressed
like him too.

5. Experiment 4: monster
I wanted to practice making
different looking/styles of
creatures to put in the game to
get a better idea of how I want
the monsters/creatures to look
In the final product. I like the
colour scheme I picked but I
don't think I want the creatures
in the game to look like this one,
I also want to make them
smaller.

6. Animation experiment
• I finished making the practice
animation. I found this quite
tricky to do because every
time I moved the arms they
would move in the previous
frame which isn’t supposed
to happen. I did sort out
the arms in the end and they
move so I am quite happy
with how the whole
thing turned out.

7. Beep box experiment
I used beep box to make some
music I think would go with
my game well. I used a lot of
high pitch bell sounds and
string instruments. I then put
in some drums to add some
suspense to the music while
keeping it happy.

8. Magazine experiment
For the magazine experiment I
photoshopped Yungblud to look like space
was coming out of his face. His new song mars
inspired me to stick with the space theme. I
watched a YouTube video of someone editing
a picture to make it look like flowers are
coming out of their face to learn how to do it
he changed the flowers for space. I had to use
different pictures of galaxy's that I layered on
top of each other to get the look I wanted. I
think I could of blended the galaxy into the
black a bit better but overall I am happy with
how it turned out.
