This document provides details for the pre-production of a music video and album cover. It includes color schemes, fonts, layout designs, storyboards, shot lists, locations, equipment, props, costumes, and schedules. Color schemes and fonts are selected to tie the visuals of the video and album cover together with a dark red theme. Storyboards outline shots including the artist lip syncing and chopping up teddy bears. Production is scheduled over 4 lessons to film pickup, edit footage, and finalize the project.

All 3 colour schemes could be used for both the video and album cover because I want
the colours from the video to be involved in the album cover to tie it all together.

5. Pre-production: Font (style sheet)
I may use this font because I like how it
uses a mix of thick and thin lines this makes
it look kind of messy and all over the place
I may use this font because it looks quite
creepy and old, I also get vampire vibes
from it which would suite the theme of the
video.
Like the last font I like the old-fashioned
style which I think makes the font look
spookier. This font is easier to read then
the last one as it is more spread out.
I may use this font because I like how it’s bold
but not all one solid colour and how some of
the letters curl round.
I want to use ironwood std medium in my final project because I think it
captures the creepy gothic look, I am going for the best out of all of them.

19. Location recce: music video
A19 Main St, Shipton, Shipton by
Beningbrough, York YO30 1AA
I will be filming the majority of the
music video in the public field in my
village. It will take 2 minuets to walk
from my house to the field. This means
we are also 2 minutes away from
somewhere to get food and drink and a
toilet.
I will be filming the last scene of the
video in my house. We will have to walk
back from the field to my house which
will only take a couple of minutes.

cuddly.

I will use a camera
provided by college to take
the pictures for the album

I will use the same rose

put on the floor during the

I want some of the main
features from the video to
reflect in the album cover
so this is why I am going to
be using the flower stems
from the cut-up flowers,
the rose petals from the
bath scene and the model
will be wearing the bear
head. I think this will link
the cover and the video
together really nicely.

33. Contingency Planning
Potential Issue Solution
The actress for the video and the model for the
album cover could drop out.
I would need to make sure I have someone to
fill their place if they can't make it.
The blow-up bed could pop/have a hole in. Check the bed id okay before filming and make
sure there is a spear one to use just in case.
It could rain on the day of filming. Look at the weather forecast to try and plan to
film on a day it's not supposed to rain.
We might not be able to shoot some scenes
due to the time the actress has to leave.
Have alternative shots planed so there is still
enough footage for the whole video.
Some shots we only have one chance to get it
right.
Do practice shots first so I can get the angle I
want before shooting the real thing.
The costume the actress has to wear might not
fit her.
Have an alternative outfit ready for her to wear.
Phone battery runs out Bring a power bank with me so I can charge my
phone while filming.
Internet stops working during production Most of my work doesn't need internet but If it
does, I could work on something else while
waiting for the internet to work again.

34. Health and Safety
Potential Issue How will the issue be
avoided?
The actress could be severely allergic to
something in the bath bomb.
I have googled the ingredients and none of
them are what she is allergic to, but we will film
as quick as possible, and she can have a shower
right after just to be safe.
The actress could cut herself with the scissors. Make sure she uses them correctly and safely
during shots.
The actress could drown in the bath. Don't fill the bath to high and make sure the
actress doesn't put her head under water.
One of us could trip over a rabbit hole in the
field.
Be careful of where we are walking so, we don't
fall.
We could get run over while walking to the field
to film.
Only cross the road at the road crossings.
We could get electrocuted while filming in the
bathroom.
Don't bring in any electrical wires/cables in the
bathroom like a phone charger.
Me and both models have really bad hay fever Remember to take hay fever tablets before
filming outside and cutting up the flowers.

35. Risk assesment.

I could drop my phone in the bath. Hold my phone tight so I don't drop it into
the water.
Don't put anything electrical in the bath. Don't take electronics into the bathroom
and especialy near the bath.
We could break the scissors. Be careful when using them don't just
throw them around.
