You can’t lie about what's in the product because if
someone uses the product it could cause health

Strengths of using this method
The strength of using this method is that it expresses your ideas visually in text form.
Also, another reason why using a mind map is useful is because it you can see what
you can use in the product. It’s good because unlike the style sheet and the mood
board, you can use information in a different way.
Weaknesses of using this method
It doesn’t show any pictures in the ideas, so it could be harder to explain what your
talking about. It can be hard to think of ideas when thinking about what to add to it.

Yes, I did like using this method because it help me get my thoughts down into words
so I could tactically find a idea that I could use. I also liked using this method because
it was easy to find out information about coca cola.

Strengths of using this method
You can have both a clear and useful board that visually represents what you’re ideas
are about and if you either run out of ideas or can’t think of any you can look at your
mood board and refresh your mind and you can then think of new ideas.
Weaknesses of using this method
It may not be clear as to what the mood board pictures are about and what they are
telling you visually. There may not be

Personally, I enjoyed this method very much as I would describe my self as a visual
learner and I feel like when I look at text it is just a bunch of scribbles but when I look
at pictures I can establish something quicker that I can form a vivid thought about
what I would do in my head.

Strengths of using this method
I could see the styles that coca cola has so that I could use some of them via
looking at the sheet with all the information about coke’s style on it. It’s easy to
get an idea of what you can use in your final product.
Weaknesses of using this method
Unlike the mood board and the mind map, the style sheet was specific, which
isn’t always a bad thing. However, I can’t use information from this for every
thing and that why I consider it a weakness of the style sheet in some sense.

Yes because you can have an overview of the whole style of coca cola which is
good because you can have a realistic approach on the style of Coca Cola. Yes
because I found out a lot of information and I also found it easy to use as well.

◦ You can plan out how your going to make your layout which will give you
ideas for the real thing. It’s almost like a base of a house because when I
used this method it was easy to build off of what I was trying to do easily

◦ It’s sometimes quite hard to search for the right things. Because its not the
real thing you may not use any of the plan for the real if you somehow do
something else therefore it could be useless if you don’t use what you did for
your plan in the real poster.
Did you like using this method? Why?
I liked this method because when you get the image your looking for its much
easier to go on from the plan to the real thing. I also liked this meth od because
it was quite quick to do and relatively easy to do as well.

The main comparison
you can see in the
coca cola adverts are
that they all have
positive and happy
music to make the
viewer in a good mood
and make the viewer
interested in buying
the product.
The colours in the adverts are
all very vibrant which, like the
audio, adds a very inviting feel
to it which is a great idea to
sell a product because people
like to feel good.
A common theme in coke
adverts is certainly love
and unity of families,
friends and love ones
where people are always
smiling. As a result, people
are more likely to buy the
drink because there’s a
good vibe around the
drink and people like good
vibes
Slogans have successfully helped
coke’s sales, used in posters and
adverts, quoted slogans have
dated to as far back as the 80s

Strengths of using this method
◦ strength of using this method is that you can look at a chunk of text which
vividly expresses how coke sells and uses ads to get more people to but the
product.

I would say that the weakness of using this method is that it

Did you like using this method? Why?
It was an effective because I can get information down in a different way
then a spider which is useful and beneficial because it allows for the me to
be able to process and build on information that I had gather.
Informal Pitch
Strengths of using this method
◦ The strengths via the feedback is that I gained understanding on what I
could improve on in terms of the radio advert ideas that my group had.
Weaknesses of using this method
◦ I would say that the weakness of this is that you might not get very much
feedback that would improve your ratio advert.
Did you like using this method? Why?
• Yes I did like using this method because it allowed me to view me and my
groups thoughts from a perspective of someone who is trained in the field that
we are working on.
Group Idea Generation
Group Idea Generation
Strengths of using this method
◦ There where many fundamental strengths of using this idea hence we’re trying to produce a
radio advert that would use a bunch of different themes and ideas in an audio. These
strengths include types of themes, mood (Positive), commentary, ambient sounds and sound
effects and mainly to see if all of those and more actually work nicely together to formulate
a radio advert.
Weaknesses of using this method
◦ Some of the points on the group generation may not be in the final radio advert.
◦ It was sometimes quite slow at getting things down on the group idea generation.
Did you like using this method? Why?
◦ I liked using this method because we, as a group could create ideas and put them
into words. Where we could expand off that and really begin think from that, to
what we’ll adding next to it.
◦ Also it was good because I worked in group, where we could share ideas between
us.
Formal Pitch
Strengths of using this method
The strengths of this is that you can put down into words how you felt the
production was doing in terms of what it was supposed to go and how it worked
with what you where trying to produce.
Weaknesses of using this method
I would say that the main weakness of this is that it can be slow at times when
thinking of information to put down into words that were relevant to what I was
talking about.
Did you like using this method? Why?
Yes because I could put down masses of information into word on a word
document that I could use in the future if I’m stuck on something that I need
some work on because it could give me ideas on I'm working on at that time.
Initial Reaction
My initial reaction that I had when I found out that I was going to make
and advergame was happiness because I had never done this before
and I like learning new things in media especially when it was
something interesting like this. I was excited that I got to use Photoshop
for the pixel art and animation because I can use that software quite
well. However, my reaction when knowing that I was going to use
premiere was unsure because I wasn’t experienced in the software at
all.
Initial Reaction
Strengths of using this method
◦ I am able to look back at my reaction and learn from it so that the next time I
react to something, it will be better because I'm more prepared for the
future.
Weaknesses of using this method
◦ The weaknesses of this is that there may not be out come from the method
which is useful.

◦ From a formal proposal I can learn more from it and its fairly quickly to use.

It can be hard to use at times because so I get stuck on what to do at times.

◦ It's a quick overview of the work I've done so I can look at how far I've come
and what I can do next time, which will be better.

It's not very useful.

Yes, because is a method that, isn't essential, but can be slightly useful
so it's better to have more methods then less that may be beneficial.

You can’t use people in your advert if they haven’t given written permission. 13 Food, food supplements and associated health or nutritional claims You can’t lie about what's in the product because if someone uses the product it could cause health issues to them if they have certain allergy's.
  • 4. Mind Map Strengths of using this method The strength of using this method is that it expresses your ideas visually in text form. Also, another reason why using a mind map is useful is because it you can see what you can use in the product. It’s good because unlike the style sheet and the mood board, you can use information in a different way. Weaknesses of using this method It doesn’t show any pictures in the ideas, so it could be harder to explain what your talking about. It can be hard to think of ideas when thinking about what to add to it. Did you like using this method? Why? Yes, I did like using this method because it help me get my thoughts down into words so I could tactically find a idea that I could use. I also liked using this method because it was easy to find out information about coca cola.

Mood Board Strengths of using this method You can have both a clear and useful board that visually represents what you’re ideas are about and if you either run out of ideas or can’t think of any you can look at your mood board and refresh your mind and you can then think of new ideas. Weaknesses of using this method It may not be clear as to what the mood board pictures are about and what they are telling you visually. There may not be Did you like using this method? Why? Personally, I enjoyed this method very much as I would describe my self as a visual learner and I feel like when I look at text it is just a bunch of scribbles but when I look at pictures I can establish something quicker that I can form a vivid thought about what I would do in my head.

Style Sheet Strengths of using this method I could see the styles that coca cola has so that I could use some of them via looking at the sheet with all the information about coke’s style on it. It’s easy to get an idea of what you can use in your final product. Weaknesses of using this method Unlike the mood board and the mind map, the style sheet was specific, which isn’t always a bad thing. However, I can’t use information from this for every thing and that why I consider it a weakness of the style sheet in some sense. Did you like using this method? Why? Yes because you can have an overview of the whole style of coca cola which is good because you can have a realistic approach on the style of Coca Cola. Yes because I found out a lot of information and I also found it easy to use as well.
  • 10. Layout Plan Strengths of using this method ◦ You can plan out how your going to make your layout which will give you ideas for the real thing. It’s almost like a base of a house because when I used this method it was easy to build off of what I was trying to do easily because I could Weaknesses of using this method ◦ It’s sometimes quite hard to search for the right things. Because its not the real thing you may not use any of the plan for the real if you somehow do something else therefore it could be useless if you don’t use what you did for your plan in the real poster. Did you like using this method? Why? I liked this method because when you get the image your looking for its much easier to go on from the plan to the real thing. I also liked this meth od because it was quite quick to do and relatively easy to do as well.

Brainstorm The main comparison you can see in the coca cola adverts are that they all have positive and happy music to make the viewer in a good mood and make the viewer interested in buying the product. The colours in the adverts are all very vibrant which, like the audio, adds a very inviting feel to it which is a great idea to sell a product because people like to feel good. A common theme in coke adverts is certainly love and unity of families, friends and love ones where people are always smiling. As a result, people are more likely to buy the drink because there’s a good vibe around the drink and people like good vibes Slogans have successfully helped coke’s sales, used in posters and adverts, quoted slogans have dated to as far back as the 80s where its said 1886 – “Drink Coca-Cola and enjoy it.” And to 2016 where it was “taste the feeling”

Brainstorm Strengths of using this method ◦ strength of using this method is that you can look at a chunk of text which vividly expresses how coke sells and uses ads to get more people to but the product. Weaknesses of using this method I would say that the weakness of using this method is that it ◦ Can be hard to find information. ◦ Can be slow at times to get information down Did you like using this method? Why? It was an effective because I can get information down in a different way then a spider which is useful and beneficial because it allows for the me to be able to process and build on information that I had gather.
  • 13. Informal Pitch Strengths of using this method ◦ The strengths via the feedback is that I gained understanding on what I could improve on in terms of the radio advert ideas that my group had. Weaknesses of using this method ◦ I would say that the weakness of this is that you might not get very much feedback that would improve your ratio advert. Did you like using this method? Why? • Yes I did like using this method because it allowed me to view me and my groups thoughts from a perspective of someone who is trained in the field that we are working on.

Group Idea Generation Strengths of using this method ◦ There where many fundamental strengths of using this idea hence we’re trying to produce a radio advert that would use a bunch of different themes and ideas in an audio. These strengths include types of themes, mood (Positive), commentary, ambient sounds and sound effects and mainly to see if all of those and more actually work nicely together to formulate a radio advert. Weaknesses of using this method ◦ Some of the points on the group generation may not be in the final radio advert. ◦ It was sometimes quite slow at getting things down on the group idea generation. Did you like using this method? Why? ◦ I liked using this method because we, as a group could create ideas and put them into words. Where we could expand off that and really begin think from that, to what we’ll adding next to it. ◦ Also it was good because I worked in group, where we could share ideas between us.

Formal Pitch Strengths of using this method The strengths of this is that you can put down into words how you felt the production was doing in terms of what it was supposed to go and how it worked with what you where trying to produce. Weaknesses of using this method I would say that the main weakness of this is that it can be slow at times when thinking of information to put down into words that were relevant to what I was talking about. Did you like using this method? Why? Yes because I could put down masses of information into word on a word document that I could use in the future if I’m stuck on something that I need some work on because it could give me ideas on I'm working on at that time.
  • 17. Initial Reaction My initial reaction that I had when I found out that I was going to make and advergame was happiness because I had never done this before and I like learning new things in media especially when it was something interesting like this. I was excited that I got to use Photoshop for the pixel art and animation because I can use that software quite well. However, my reaction when knowing that I was going to use premiere was unsure because I wasn’t experienced in the software at all.

Initial Reaction Strengths of using this method ◦ I am able to look back at my reaction and learn from it so that the next time I react to something, it will be better because I'm more prepared for the future. Weaknesses of using this method ◦ The weaknesses of this is that there may not be out come from the method which is useful. Did you like using this method? Why? ◦ You could see what you could improve on. ◦ You can learn from it.
  • 20. Formal Proposal Strengths of using this method ◦ From a formal proposal I can learn more from it and its fairly quickly to use. Weaknesses of using this method It can be hard to use at times because so I get stuck on what to do at times. Did you like using this method? Why? Yes because I could use a method I don't really use and learn from the experience.
  • 21. Sketches Strengths of using this method ◦ It's a quick overview of the work I've done so I can look at how far I've come and what I can do next time, which will be better. Weaknesses of using this method It's not very useful. slow because you have to screenshot individually, each slide. Did you like using this method? Why? Yes, because is a method that, isn't essential, but can be slightly useful so it's better to have more methods then less that may be beneficial.
