2. Grant Dillon grew up in Portland, Oregon and attended
Lakeridge High School. He is an avid sports fan with his
favorite being basketball. He has always wanted to be
around sports for a living and is jumping at the opportunity
that Full Sail has given him. He believes that hard work and
dedication can accomplish almost anything. Grant wants to
give basketball fans a more enjoyable listening experience
with his work.

14. Grant Dillon
You know how a lot of broadcasters can unintentionally
turn the focus away from the excitement of the game and onto
themselves? Well I take pride in my ability to call the game and be a factor in the
audience’s enjoyment of the game, but at the same time, keep the focus on the game,
players, and stadium noise. In fact, my inspiration to be a broadcaster (Vin Scully) perfected
that and he’s who I model my broadcasting after.
