monkey, I have
taken a survey
about what
people expect
from a music
magazine of this
style
3. Screen Grab of Results HERE
Breakdown of the results HEREThis connotes that most people would pay either £3 - £4 or £2 - £3 for a monthly music
magazine. That means that those would be the optimum prices to make my magazine
as most people feel that is a suitable price to pay, and would therefore make more
profit. It also shows that £4 is too much and that £ is the best price to charge as it
crosses over into the two most popular groups.
4. This connotes that a band photo is what people would expect on the cover, meaning it’s a
common recognizable feature of a magazine of this style and it would be good to bring
sales by conforming with what people expect from this kind of magazine.
5. Although fairly obvious it shows that people are familiar with star appeal in magazines
and other forms of media and therefore feel it is synonymous and important in this
context too.
6. This is similar to the earlier question, in the fact that there are evenly sized groups meaning
that the ideal number of pages to put in my magazine would be 30 pages, as that is the
amount that crosses over into the two most popular groups.
7. This signifies that the offers of festival or concert tickets would probably be the best thing
to offer as a promotional, as it would probably draw most people in.
8. This connotes that people would mostly like to see interviews in a music magazine or
promos in order to get them to buy the magazine.
