My music audience in relation to other music magazines

1. In relationtoother music magazines, I am going to identify the target
audience for my product.
The audience that I had in mind for my media productis that of fans of hard
rock and Metal fromthe magazines that I have looked at.
Primary Audience:
My magazineis aged at an older audience who
are more interested with the contents of the
magazine which is shown in the example with
its more subdued colour palette meaning that it
is for a more mature audience.
The audience for my magazineare more
dedicated fans rather than casual listeners due
to the fact that there is a plethora of artistand
articles presented in conciseparagraphs rather
than an eye catching style of font or a bright
and poppy presentation.
They will also be interested in the stories and
artist of this genre of music as well and will be
looking for information for the genre.
Secondary Audience:
The demographic that is part of my secondary
audience is that of teenagers to young adults
that are very entices to the dark and gloomier
imagery that my magazineand this example are
conveying.
Itwill also possess information and stories on
the newestand more relevant artist that my
younger secondary audiencewill be more
awareof.
In conclusion the audience I havein mind for my Music Magazine is that of 25-40
year olds who are dedicated deeply to the genre of Hard Rock and Metal.
The gender of my magazinewill be for both men and women but is more
specified towards men over women.
