Monday 7th September -Finished analyzing magazine target audience and USP.
-Researched magazines figures and readership.
-Decided on chosen inspiration magazine design.
-Starter working on audience profile and researching facts about
magazine genre.
Monday 14th September - Completed mood board document
- Updated my blog page recording my accomplihments for the
week and future tasks
- Learnt how to analyse context page and double page spread

2. Monday 21nd September - Began correcting my magazine masthead font powerpoint
- Completed my survey monkey questionnaire; I still have yet to
receive replies.
- Analysed survey monkey questionnaire results on a powerpoint
document.
Monday 28th September - I have finished conducting research for my primary research
powerpoint
- I’ve gathered photographic evidence to support it
- I have analysed all results and displayed them onto a powerpoint doc
- I have started sketching out my design for my front cover
Monday 5th October - Begun working on my preliminary mind map for the school
magazine
- I’ve started working on my preliminary front cover starting from
a template; I’ve included the barcode and masthead. I will add
more conventions soon
Monday 12th October - I have been working on my preliminary front cover, I’ve added
the price and date.
- In my free time I’ve been correcting my primary research
powerpoint
- This lesson I added social media logos to my preliminary front
cover, I added a smaller version for the masthead near the
barcode
Monday 19th October - I added a main headline as well as a website and a hashtag and
edited the cover lines and masthead so that it could be read
- Today I have added a puff promotion, more cover lines, a new

3. header and strapline
- As of now I have completely finished my preliminary front
cover; I added small images to my cover lines, readjusted my
barcode and social media icons, updated my puff promotion to
fill up empty space
Half Term
I have completed my preliminary contents page hand drawn draft
Monday 2nd November - I started working on the actual contents page itself, I have
duplicated layers to make it easier to edit whilst keeping the style
consistent. I included the masthead and background from the
previous front cover page.
- I have added templates for my photos today, a page number
and web address for my preliminary contents page, also added
a few stories for my exclusive stories contents.
- I have edited the editorial, drop capital and added an editorial
photo to professionalize the contents page.
- I have finished the editorial, I still have to add my signature
and social media icons
Monday 9th November - I added the signature and finished off the editorial, added
some content for the events category and I am now adding
images suitable to the stories today.
- I finished all of the content for my contents magazine today, I
just have to add a few more photos and its complete.
- I finally completed my preliminary front cover; I've made

4. improvements to a few of my planning and research tasks as
well.
Monday 16th November - This lesson I startedworking on my maintask front cover; my
magazine of inspirationis Kerrang. I've created a background,
masthead,strapline and now I need to make and implement the
barcode
- In today's lesson I have added more conventions to my front
cover;the barcode area is complete, ive added a mainheadline, re
editedmy masthead,adapting the font style, I added social media
icons.And added my mainimage of Jack Connel
- This lesson I have been working on my main task front cover; I added
a puff promotion. I'm now working on the cover lines.
Monday 23th November - Today I have added more cover lines and made small finishing
touches to the whole page.
- After today's lessonI believe that I have completely finishedmy main
task front cover; over this lesson I was able to readjust the puff
promotionand main headline. I also added another cover line
featuring Death Grips to fill up the empty space on the right.
Monday 30th November - I have startedworking on my maintask contents page, I've added a
background, mastheadlogo and the issue date.
Monday 7th December - This lesson I was able to finish typing my editorial,I also took an
editorialphoto, and placed it alongside my editorial along with the
socialmedia icons and signature.I have started adding contents for
the page.
